Who: Atlas and Pleione When: Tuesday night What: Camping and stargazing Where: Wherever they're camping (I am clever)
Getting out and watching the stars are something Pleione was very familiar with. It was something she could do all night without becoming overly tired. She sit lie in the grass, gazing up into the seemingly endless abyss that was the night sky and wish that her children would come to life from the very stars they were supposed to be. To see her children again would mean the world to her. She wanted to hold them, stroke their hair, tell them mother would always protect them. It was always the same thing when she set out for a night of stargazing.
Eager to find a good, secluded area, she had packed only essentials for an overnight camping trip. It would also be the first time she and Atlas had some real time away in a very long time. Preferably, she would have rather stayed out for days, even if weather didn't permit. She only hoped there wouldn't be too much cloud cover. And if so she would insist on staying until they had had a real chance to watch the sky.
Pleione didn't know what had put her in such a mood, but she simply felt happier. It showed through all that day and during the trip to where they would settle down for the night. She smiled at Atlas, a real smile. Nothing about it was forced and there didn't seem to be a hint of sadness in her eyes.
