Thalia had arrived a few minutes behind Mel, bearing a tray of cookies and a bag of sandwiches, because she only had so many sisters and nephews, and she figured she was allowed to dote on them when she felt like it.
Finally clapping eyes on Orpheus she said, "I knew it! Like a reed. You eat a sandwich where I can see you, young man, and maybe a couple cookies, then I'll see about laying off the fussing." She set her bags down and hugged him tightly. "Don't disappear for so long next time, yeah?"
