Galatea had both Pygmalion and Aphrodite to thank for giving her life. One her Creator, and the other her Life. She would always love both unconditionally. That she was sure of. No amount of negative energy would pull her down. She was much too good for that.
Her maids had indeed not seen a man there before. Galatea did not walk about like a common harlot. She was too good for any of them. She was also very arrogant at times and it was often a topic of conversation among her maids about whether any man could handle her high standards. Apparently there was one.
"You may go for the night. Be here first thing in the morning," she called out to her maids.
