Hunter's Armored Car Services.
That's the name that was bolded on the side of his van. Not exactly a horse and carriage, but it still did the trick.
A safeguard for valuables and money.
That was his job. One that Robin excelled at, except for one tiny, tiny flub. He often like to swipe a little with the fat cats. A lot of his customers were loyal, knew him as a tradesmen. Then there were the head dogs that thought they owned the cooperate world and his head. Those were the guys that wouldn't miss a little snitch here and there. They probably wiped their arses with it like toilet paper.
This guy, no different.
With the zipped up bag of money, several in fact, Robin waltzed into this big building with glass all around and stiff-necked looking upper class men while he was in his jeans, t-shirt and halfway decent coat. Quit amusing really.
When ushered into the gentleman's office there was a shock wave of energy coming through that quite frankly felt familiar. And dirty. Robin slapped the bags down on the bags on the man's desk.
"As you requested," there was a funny smirk on his lips. "Mr...." he paused looking for the name that he'd been thrown. Gibson? Gisbon, Gisborne? He near said it aloud, and there was a unintentional foul-up when he said the name, closer to the latter thought than the first.

He should have known this was coming. He narrowed his eyes seeing who had delivered his money and sneered lightly.
"I certainly hope that you're insured. I'd hate for my money to end up in someone else's accounts."

Robin laughed at that sneer, finding it definitely more familiar than it had been when he first walked in.
"Don't trust me?" he asked tilting his head with a grin. As well he shouldn't but Robin would be out the door before that happened. With a whistle the outlaw turned around. "Happy counting!"

"Of course I don't trust you. I don't trust anyone." He clicked a button on the phone to speak to the lobby. "Hold the doors for a moment. I'd like to talk to our courier before he leaves." The nice thing about this day and age was that it was difficult for someone to pin your guards to the walls and not get arrested for assault.

Robin chuckled again holding his hands up. He had a way out of this if need be, a extra bag of what could be this guy's money as bait while he tried to get out of the door.
He swung his keys around on his finger with a amused sigh. "So is it true, you are who I think you are?" Robin laughed. "Still as moody as ever."

"Hard to recognize me this time I suppose." The last go round he'd been a complete buffoon that embarrassed everyone that knew him. Being the slave to popular culture really sucked sometimes. "Perceptions change and so do I...yet you are almost always the same. It ought to be interesting how it goes this time."

"You think too much Guy, loosen up a bit, you were always a bit tight in the arse." He waved his fingers about, ready to hit the door once the security guards came through. It wasn't the first time, nor would it be the last.
His hand sat on his pocket with another bag of funds should he need to toss it his way, though most of it a few wad of one dollar bills cloaked by a couple of fifties. It worked it's magic every time, and he hardly believed Guy to have wised up that much.

He'd wised up enough. There weren't guards coming through since they were just holding down the front entrance to keep Robin from leaving that way. For everything else there was cameras.
"Not everyone can get through life with nothing but jokes and their merry men." He considered the situation then smirked. "I suppose I should make you sit around while I count it."

"If you must," Robin said sitting down in an empty chair with a flop. He looked around the office building, his brain always hitching a plan even when his odds were out. It wasn't Robin to ever give up.
"Who bested you every time, Gisborne? You've moved up in the world since the days of playing bedmates with the sheriff."

He started to methodically open up and count out the money just to be a pain in the ass.
"Times change don't they Robin? Funny that. No Sheriff here. It's just you and me now."

Robin tapped his leg lightly, chuckling at Guy's ooze for dominance. "It must be nice to think you catch me in a trap and then I magically escape. It's like smoke. Poof." He rolled his eyes, was the big loot seriously going to count it. Days with giant chests of coins seemed so much easier to cover up.
"Funny," he said tapping his chin, "it was always easier to hit you at your hardest when you were alone."

Paper money just wasn't as satisfying but he made do. After all you had to have something to show you were winning the game at business and stacks of cash or profit shown in numbers on a computer were how you did it now.
"Hmmm...the Sheriff was what he was. Why do you feel the need to hit me now? The last I knew your ancestral home was part of some city anymore and it's not like I'm sitting in the chair there anymore."

"Guy," Robin laughed, "It's just too easy. You have this presence that makes me want to annoy you. It's all a part of my disguise."
Robin now tapped his fingers against the arm of the chair. "Have you always been this slow at counting," he tried to keep his eyes on him so that perhaps his focus would get a little lost.
After a few minutes Robin's leg bounced again. "Hate to be a bother in this whole hostage scenario, but where's the loo?" He pointed a thumb towards the door.

He just kept his face down while he counted and stacked the bills after checking to make sure that all the money was the same denominations.
"Somehow I doubt your kidneys are going to explode Robin."

"Your not the one who drank a grand cup of coffee before heading over here." Whether or not he was telling the truth was up for the audience to decide. Robin had a way of convincing in the most horrible of situations. It was also his downfall because he was trusting and giving chances to the lowliest of people if he felt they could. Sometimes that backfired. Like with Guy.
"Loo, Guy seriously. Where can I go if you have the doors blocked off?"

"Knowing you there would be a heating duct with your name on it. If I was lucky maybe you'd get stuck and have to be cut out by the emergency services." It was slightly petty to not let him go to the bathroom...all right it was REALLY petty but he was in a bad mood just seeing Robin. When he was around it tended to bring on idiocy, losses and injuries.
"You could just square up what you took and go freely without any fuss. I suppose that wouldn't be any fun for you?"

"I'm thin, I can crawl in and out of tight places." He laughed, though it wavered wondering if the big lout would actually let him roam out of the room or not. "You know if I pee on your leather seats, it's your fault and I'll laugh." He shook his leg again for good measure.
"Who says anything is missing Gisborne, honestly, have a little faith will you?"

"If you pee on my seats I might have to have you arrested for vandalism." He had no plans to let Robin roam out of the room. There was always something he could do to escape, steal or what have you. Fate would have an important computer on or door unlocked for him. That was what always happened.
"You were delivering money to me. I have no faith that it's all in one piece. Even before you knew it was me you probably had this urge to mess with it just because the universe knew you were coming here."

"Only if it's done tastefully right?" He laughed again, eyes searching around for some sort of escape plan. Guy was stupid if he thought the wheels weren't going off in his head, he just hoped he could stall him long enough.
"Oh," Robin said as he squirmed around in his chair. "I forgot one," he slid the back across the desk. "Let bygones be bygones old man, it's rude to think such things of someone you've hardly seen in centuries." He touched his chest over his heart for added effect before standing, still creating the scene that he had to pee. "Now if you will, the loo," he tilted his head. "I'm not being bashful anymore."

"So you changed in the hundreds of years since we've seen each other?" He gave Robin a wide eyed look of amazement that was wholley feigned.
"Use the bathroom elsewhere." Right now there wasn't much of a chance there was enough money gone to cuase a huge problem. He'd rather have Robin gone than continue the dance right now. "They'll escort you out the front."
