Who: Robin Hood & Maid Marian What: A flirtatious little outlaw trying to sneak his way in with the new redhead When: Dec. 29th late afternoon Where: Marian's apartment then for coffee Note: Reposted as a favour
Robin had promised to meet the beautiful redhead at a local cafe for coffee, but after some heavy consideriation he'd skipped town a little early to knock on her door before she could come out. Unlike the last time they'd met, Robin was ready to prove to the little lass that he was usually very punctual.
With a few daisies in his hand, a pretty violet ribbin wrapped around them around as he greeted her at the door.

But she wouldn't listen to that little voice. This Robert fellow seemed nice enough. He was certainly cheery, but a little too hung up on himself. Confidence was one thing, but this guy obviously thought he was top notch. He's very cute. No, she refused to focus on things like that. Marian considered peoples character and so far the worst thing he had going was a mild case of narcissism. If you could even call it that.
So coffee it was. At least the roads weren't covered in white anymore. Though she did miss it; she'd enjoy a couple of good fun days in the snow with some neighboring kids. As she stepped off the elevator and waved to the front clerk she caught sight of her coffee companion. Yes, companion works much better. And then she caught sight of the flowers. They were so simple and yet so lovely, just as Marian preferred it. It was almost as if he had a strange link right to her brain. She smiled, "This is unexpected." She gestured to the flowers. "But a pleasantly lovely surprise."

The prickly thought that she could be Marian was still a possibility as Robin would never give up on the thought that one day he'd be greeted by her again. Their first life had been much too short, filled with adventure but not enough time to just settle down and have a family. A part of Robin would always long for that, for the chance for simpler things.
"For you," he said cheekily giving her the flowers. "I had a feeling you would fancy something simple. By the look on your face I guess right." He held out his arm for her to take (much old fashioned as men didn't escort women anymore unless for some high gala event). "Shall we?"
