Clio/Thalia
Clio had known she could avoid coming to this party, even if she'd ever wanted too. The Muses were always called for, for things like this. She rather hoped they wouldn't call on them to sing. Being pregnant, it kind of sucked to stand up for long times.
She'd dressed in a style reminiscent of the old Greek style, one that flattered her current shape and somewhat hid her pregnancy, and had found a place to sit and observe. She figured she was the only Greek here who wasn't drinking, and while she usually needed a glass or two to deal with her family she figured someone should remain sober.
If only to remind everyone later of what they all did.

Her ever present smile was a bit more pasted-on than usual, but no one seemed to be looking close enough to notice, and it wasn't really as terrible as she'd been expecting. At least for right now.
Beer in hand, she slid into a chair beside Clio, finally relaxing now that her sister was close by. "Shouldn't have worn heels this high," she bitched cheerfully. "But they went with the dress, so I guess that's my fault." She shrugged. "How're you holding up?"

"I like the bright colors though." She set her hands along her stomach, something that felt so natural now, releasing her sister but giving her smile instead. "But I'm alright. Sitting down, watching. Getting ready to get real good at ducking. And yourself?"

"Par for the Clio course," she said with a nod. "I might go talk to some more people later, but sitting and watching is going to sound pretty appealing later, I can already tell."

She smirked, "thanks, I can fit in this one." Not that she complained a lot. She rather loved being pregnant. She just hoped this child would do better then her previous ones.
