Who: Famine & Death
What: Two sisters reunite
When: Sunday afternoon
Where: Coffee shop
Warnings: You mean besides Death and Famine in the same room? Possible creepiness and language, TDB.
Note: This is the previous incarnation of Death, the one played by Trish.
Famine had woken up about 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, head pounding and a with a spectacular hangover. The Pimps and Hos party had been awesome, but she hadn't gone out and partied that hard in a while. At least she'd had a bitchin' time.
She got out of bed, and promptly stumbled over one of her discarded hooker shoes and smacked her head into the wall. The cursing that followed would have made a sailor blush, and she finished off with, "And fuck shoes too! Shoes are fucking stupid. Goddammit." She pulled on some clothes, wincing every time her heart beat, her head really hurt.
When it became clear that more than Advil was needed to clear up her headache, she decided to go out for coffee and a sandwich. Pulling on her jacket, she headed to a cafe a few blocks from her apartment. Ordering the biggest cup of black coffee they had and some sandwich with three different kinds of meat, she headed to a table away from the windows. Being in sunlight didn't agree with her right now.
She had just finished devouring the first half of her sandwich and was reaching for the second, when she felt another immortal enter the cafe. But they felt really familiar...like one of her sisters. Interesting.
She twisted in her seat to see which one of them it was. Seeing any of them again would be awesome, in her book.

She hadn't expected to run into any of her sisters while out for coffee and really good but extremely bad for you french fries. When she felt them there she immediately headed in that direction but stopped when she saw who it was.
It was unexpected to run into the sister none of them had seen in a while. It actually put a smile on her face as she realized it was really her.
"And my third little sister makes four." She sat at the table with a smile.

Famine actually smiled, a real smile and not a smirk as Death sat at her table. "And here I always thought of myself as second-oldest," she laughed.
"Now I make four, hmm? So the others are in town too?" she asked, sipping her coffee.

"Well you are the second oldest. But since I'm the oldest you're all little sisters to me." She grinned as she took a drink of her own.
"Yeah they're here. It's good to see you, where did you end up?"

Famine gave a huge, fake put-upon sigh. "I suppose I can deal with that," she said, her eyes dancing with mirth.
"It's good to see you too," she replied. "As for where I was, I didn't even get here until the turn of this century. Before that, North Korea. And they still haven't gotten their act together." She sighed.
"So what have you three been up to while I was off garnering North Korea's hatred?" she asked.

"I went to a St. Patrick's day parade with a leprechaun. Oh and War and I went on a road trip to the country's most bizarre roadside attractions." She grinned proudly for those two things.
"And Pestilence is dating an archangel."

Famine smiled and listened as her sister talked. "Sounds like you've been having a good time," she said. "Did you get a bunch of tacky souvenirs from everywhere you went? It's practically a requirement."
Well, that made her sit up and pay attention. "Wha- An archangel? Really? Which one?"
"And here I thought going to a frat party and getting my own attack owl was the best way to spend a week," she laughed.

"Yup lots of souvenirs. You can come see them if you want." She and War had a ton of them between the both of them although some were in reserve to give to other people.
"Michael." She raised a brow at her sister waiting to see her opinion on the subject.

"I'd like that," she replied. "And it'd be fun to see War, too."
She opened her mouth, then closed it again. "Well," she said finally. "That's...holy shit, I don't even know what to say to that. How long have they been together?"

"A couple of months maybe. It's...weird." She shrugged a little before taking a drink of her coffee and nibbling on some of the fries that were rapidly getting cold.
"I mean I know I don't understand the whole human interaction thing as well as you guys tend to. But Michael?"

"That is very weird," she agreed, taking another huge bite of sandwich, thinking while she chewed. "Then again, you could make the argument that we're all weird." She shrugged. "I don't know."
She fluttered her hands in a sort of 'don't look at me' gesture. "Human interaction is weird, for me at least," she said. "I go to parties, there's a stampede toward the buffet. I kill vegetable gardens. People tend to not like you much after that, or they think you're really strange. Maybe Michael...I don't know, maybe he balances her. Is she happy?"

"Trust me I get the people think you're strange bit." She smiled with a wry twist to it and ate another fry.
"I think she is. She's not letting it affect neutrality and she's not trying to kill him with her bare hands so there must be something to it."

"I think we all do," she replied. "Just because of who we are, we're always set apart." She stole one of her sister's fries and grinned. "At least we've got each other?"
"Good, on all three counts. I mean, yeah, it's weird, but as long as all those things you mentioned stay the same, I don't anyone will have cause to complain. Lord knows we've seen weirder things in our day."

"We totally do. And next time we take a road trip you should come with us." It was good to have the last of them here so that they were all together again. Having all her sisters gave her a sense of completion.
"Hey there's even whackos that court me but it's a really short relationship."

"That'd be awesome, I'd like that," she said. "Can you imagine: Death, War and Famine in a car, descending on unsuspecting tourist traps? Poor staff would never recover." She laughed, she couldn't help it. The image was just too funny. "We should bring Pestilence too, Horsemen on the road."
"Yes you do, and you're welcome to them," she replied. "But hey, at least they're devoted? Welcoming you with open arms."

"The four of us on the road would be memorable." Her eyes were almost twinkling with amusement at the idea. People got so paranoid when they all hung out together. "We just about gave this guy at a haunted inn a heart attack and he kept asking us where our parents were!"
She sighed thinking of the fools who romanticized her. "I can do without them. You should meet Liam. He's a leprechaun and he's fun to hang out with."

"Memorable, and quite possibly terrifying," she said with a grin. "People tend not to suspect four teenage girls, and then bam!, things go to Hell."
She raised an eyebrow. "Did you tell him we don't really have parents, and that our purpose in life is to usher in the Apocalypse? That probably would've really given him a heart attack."
"I bet," she said. "It must seem so strange, to have people who've got such a fixation with you. I never really understood it. Not you, personally, your purpose, I mean."
She perked up a bit. "I've never met a leprechaun, that'd be pretty bitchin'. You'd think I would have seen one while I was over in Ireland either time, but those were more business visits, not so much a vacation. But yeah, I'd love to meet him."

"I met him in the park. He was tormenting pigeons." She grinned remembering them playing with people afterward. "And he gave me a Rolex after we scammed it from some guy who was an idiot."
It was so rare that she got to have that kind of fun since mostly people just looked at her, turned pale and went the other way.

Famine couldn't help it, she threw back her head and laughed. "Tormenting pigeons in the park, that is a seriously hilarious mental image," she said, once she'd calmed down a bit. "And hey, free Rolex. Awesome bonus."
"Oh! I have my own pet attack owl now, did I tell you?" she asked. "His name's Archimedes."

"Sweet!" She really liked the idea of an attack owl. It would be unexpected and hilarious. "And you will totally surprise all those morons who think that owls are cute and cuddly because of all that Harry Potter stuff."
