Current mood: excited

( &who; ) Marlene, Aerith [&] Cloud
( &where; ) Faeyn Realm - Marlene's little house
( &when; ) Shortly after them speaking to one another
( &what; ) Meeting up! ♥
( &warning(s); ) Iiii, really don't think so. :P ♥

This place wasn't so bad after all, at least not yet it wasn't. There were hundreds of flowers for the small child to play in, and pick for decor for the shabby little home she'd found and taken over as her own. The only rotten part she'd thought of just yet was the fact that she had to be dead in order to be in this area. Still, there didn't seem to be any monsters like there were in Edge, or Midgar for that matter, and everything seemed rather peaceful all around her. She'd already come in contact with a ladybug creature that was nearly the same size as herself, and a small pixie-like faerie being - which she'd simply thought was rather pretty and friendly. Now though, she remained in the small patch of yellow flowers nearby the house she'd settled in. It was the only patch of yellow flowers she'd seen for miles and miles, they were normally pink or purple and occasionally white.

Containing her excitement to see Aerith once more was something quite difficult for Marlene to do, really. She'd missed the woman she had once called 'big sis' dearly and in fact she had been one of the first people to cross Marlene's mind when she'd arrived in the Realm of the Dead. Not a day would go by that none of the people in their little group did not think of Aerith, in fact they'd begun sporting little pink strings on various areas of their bodies to continue remembering her - Marlene's was a large ribbon in her hair that was she thrilled to have no lost in her death. Though a grim subject for the child, she seemed to have already accepted it - or so it would seem. Humming a tune she was making up as she went along with it, Marlene played her fingers over the soft petals from where she sat. Soon she'd see the Cetra girl once more, and Cloud had said he'd finally found the flowers as well - maybe things were looking up after all.

"Alright!" the small girl chirped in response. Since they were both here and under the same circumstances, Marlene assumed that Aerith was right about not disappearing again. Where could she disappear to even if she wanted too? Her gaze followed the other female's hands to her dress where the child's eyes widened somewhat. There was a hole in Aerith's dress, wasn't there? She blinked - nearly leaning forward to have a closer look but thinking better of it. She frowned, that must have been how Aerith died? Strange. Did that mean Marlene also had some strange marking on her telling the tale of her death? Without thinking as she listened to the older girl speak, she pressed a palm to her forehead and felt a small gasp escape her lips. Sure enough there was a large gash, cut rather deeply and spread quite wide. What an awful thing for people to see!

She hadn't been alone? Then with who? Marlene tugged her hand from her forehead to set her chin onto it while her elbow rested on her knee. "An old friend? That's good. At least you weren't all by yourself, that would be really scary!" Marlene shrugged her shoulders in response to Aerith's doing so as well and giggled softly. "'He'?" she giggled once more, thinking of how wonderful it would be to find your loved one - although a grim, at least one would be happy with their afterlife. Cloud and Vincent were here, they were also people that Marlene loved, but it pained her to know they were located here, in the Netherworld with her and Aerith. It meant they too, were dead. Well, Cloud would come for them, Marlene was sure of it. "Yeah!" She smiled, "I bet Uncle Vincent is really sad and missing all of us. Right after we find Cloud, we'll make him bring us to find Uncle Vincent too!" It was a good idea, after all, family should always be together.
