2 Set your style to S2, Bloggish , set the "Themes" to "None", and Save.
3 Under "Custom Options" make sure that you have the following item chosen:

Leave everything else as it is, although you can change the descriptions for your comment area. Save when finished.

Layout: Pegasus

Layout Style: S2 Dear Diary
Best view: 1024 x 768
Browser(s) Compatible: IE, Firefox, that I know of
Credit: Would be nice

This is a relatively simple DD layout, and has only one graphic, the header image.
I ask that you right click and save the image on the working journal and save it to your own graphic archive, then change the url to point it to your own image archive. The one in the code will eventually be removed.

Instructions:

1 Go to "Customize Journal"
2 Set your style to S2, Dear Diary, set the "Themes" to "Default", and Save
3 Select and copy the code in the code box below.
3 Go into 'Custom Options" and to "Custom CSS" and paste the CSS code in the box called "Custom style sheet".

Would love to see it working on your journal, so please comment.

Harry Potter header image

I put this image together when working on a Harry Potter layout, but I didn't go ahead with it. Feel free to use, but would be nice if you could let me know where it ends up.

Header Graphic

I designed a header graphic for a layout I am no longer using, and it's rather too nice to just toss away. If someone would like it to incorporate in a suitable layout, please feel free, and a credit would be appropriate.

It's titled "Potions, Charms and Spells" and is available HERE

Bloggish layout: Pastel (green)

Contents: Journal layout
Subject: Pastel (green)
Layout Style: Bloggish
Credit: a mention on your profile would be good
Comments: I use IE so not sure hwo it looks in other browsers

This is a relatively simple straightforward Bloggish layout. Th code has options for other graphic inserts if you want to put them in and know how, otherwise it works quite nicely as it is.

The layout has only two graphics, the little dragon and the stars in the header. They are included in the zip file with the css sheet

Instructions:

1 Go to "Customize Journal"
2 Set your style to S2, Bloggish and Save
3 Go into 'Custom Options" and change the top selection (Layout Type) to "Two Column, Sidebar on Right", and Save.
4 Go to "Custom CSS" and paste in the style sheet.

Please save the two graphics to your own site and change the URLs on the sheet, as I will be withdrawing them from my Photobucket archive shortly

Bloggish layout "There Be Dragons Here"

Journal layout: Bloggish
Credit: Not essential but a mention would be nice
Comments: This is my very first layout, which was a lot of fun to make. It's an S2, so you need to set your style to S2, Bloggish, with "none" selected under "Themes". Then go to "Custom Options" to "LayoutType" and select "Two column, Sidebar on left".

Cut and past the code in the CSS box.

Please host the images on your own site as they will eventually come off mine and the journal would look all blooey, just go into the CSS code and change the URL for your image source.

Zip file HERE

It is best viewed on 1024 x 768, and may look odd under other settings. It should work with most browsers.

As it is my first layout, I may not have done everything right either for this post or for the layout, so please let me know.
