I've seen some nice layouts and tips here and I was wondering if anyone could provide some tips on how to do any one of the following:

1. When having a custom header image using S2 Bloggish (folio theme), how to stop the journal title/subtitle or journal name from appearing over the image.
2. How to have custom links instead on the image, something like this? Or how to have images separating posts like in the aforementioned link?

Any advice is appreciated.

I know Minimalism is fairly new on LiveJournal. But will there be a Minimalism source code for InsaneJournal or does a tutorial exist about adapting source codes for IJ?
