I have a question, I have a graphic that I've made and I've tried to create a layout out of it and I just can't seem to do it. I used to have no problem on greatestjournal, but for some reason on this site, I can't get anything to work right. I know I need a background for the layout still, but I never made it that far. I can't for the life of of my figure this out! If anyone could help, that would be amazing!

I wanted to do a two column thing, one for entries and the other to put like links or w/e nonsense. I just can't get it lol! I've spent hours at it, but everything I did on GJ doesn't seem to work on here. Any help would be amazing!!

Well, I wanted the bg color to be white and maybe like thin lined black for bordering. I know I'm annoying and picky, I'm sorry :( Umm..as for fonts...idk lmao! Whatever the default one is..I guess? It's fine, I'm not picky with that. Idk if that all made sense sorry!

something like that but without the blues. like the bg's of the entries can be white and stuff and the part that says like "tags" and "stuff" can be grey. i'm probably going to use that whole column for only random links. :) thank you thank you thank you for doing this!

Yes I like that! Is there a way to make ALL of the fonts black and to take out the calender? I really don't need it..I'm just going to put silly pictures and links in that side column. Thank you thank you thank you!

I can easily change the fonts and even have it so the calendar doesn't display. However, in order to add pictures and links {aside from your links list} into the sidebar, you'd have to have a paid account. Just thought I should let you know.

I'm not sure what, if any, layout style offered here would allow you to add in extras on the sidebar with a free account.

Okay, I did a little bit of editing to the picture to kind of show how I wanted it. Since I can't have the side column totally customizable, I guess it's kind of pointless. So I changed the picture lol!

That picture is just how I'd like it to look, it's something I did really quick in psp. It's not centered right or anything, but like I said, it was quick! :) If you could do that, that would be amazing!!! a link to friends/userinfo/icons underneath the picture would be amazing, too if you can.

Okay, clearly I'm stupid lol! I followed the tutorial and it didn't come out right. I don't know if I messed it up, because I'm good for that, but it's gotta be me. It's the same problem I have everytime I try and put a layout up. It doesn't work for me lol!

Nope, the fault lies with me. I forgot to tell you what layout style it was in.

It's supposed to be in variable flow. Is that the style you have it in?
