And after everything that's happened over the past few months, this is somehow the least surprising of all. My divorce came through this morning. I didn't contest it.

There'll be a further custody hearing this month but, to be honest, I can't contest that, either. It's not fair to drag two children into this mess of a life I lead.

I hope you all have an enjoyable Easter, if you celebrate it at this time (I shall follow in a week) but, for now, it's back unto the breach. Being on call is never quiet but at least I can do some good, I guess.

I got to watch the sunrise this morning, something I haven't done in a while. It was just as beautiful as I remembered it being, and I wish I had either the words or skill to somehow paint a picture of everything I saw. The miracle of nature will never fail to amaze me.
