[Every so often, something happened that made the normally talkative Pheme go quiet. It was never a good quiet either, but instead one that was loaded with the weight of unsaid words that were meant to wound worse than gunfire. When she found the letter from her beloved uncle, her silence spoke volumes.

While she wasn't usually one to be emotional around others, unless that emotion was pure glee at their stupidity, tears were streaming down Pheme's face as she carefully wrote out a message. She didn't care that she was sitting where people could see her, all she cared about was getting the word out about her uncle's courage.]

I got this letter today from my uncle, anyone wanna explain what it means?

Family,

I don't have much time to write this and by the time you get this, I don't know what will have happened to me. The important thing is that you know and tell everyone what is happening.

Soldiers from Niflheim are killing innocent Camelotians. On order of Marshal Daphne, they have been told that if anyone sees them to "kill them and hide the bodies". Anyone, no discrimination was made. This young woman I came across would have been murdered in cold blood along with her child if anyone else had found her. Get people away from the borders, send soldiers to defend the borders. People have been murdered already and I don't even know the number or where the bodies possibly are but I know I've seen my fellow soldiers return with blood on their hands.

Tell the Queen, the Marshal of Camelot. Everyone. Get this published if you can. I made the choice to turn on this order and the consequences I may face will not be gentle. Marshal Daphne is not known for mercy. If I see you again, that will be fortunate. If not, so be it. Fight on my behalf the best way you can.

Those assholes. We're printing about this, going to dirty up Niflheim good for this. These are war crimes, darling, and they won't get away with it. Get started on a draft, Pheme. We are going to let everyone know.

But, I suppose this once, we could work with the government. Lives are at stake. You'll remain a secret reporter. None of the officials need to know what you do just yet. We'll work out how I found out so not to connect you to being involved with me.

Have you met the young woman who brought you the letter? She might be the best way to get articles out and for no one to think about you showing me this.

	I can have the lady who brought me the letter bring it to you. She's staying at the inn. The letter, it's got my uncles' dog tags imprinted on it. I... I don't know if I can write this, Samyaza. I want to hear everything she has to say, tell her story along side your uncle's letter. Let a Camelotian tell her tale.

We'll work with those higher ups for your uncle's sake if it'll make you feel better, Pheme. But my predication is that one way or another, if he's been caught, they'll punish him.

We are a region of peacemakers, the ones who uphold justice. They cannot and will not get away with murder or executing a man who did the right thing. He'll become a martyr and that is the last thing ANY region wants. That is how followings are born and terrorism can take a leap. If Niflheim's smart, they won't dream of executing your uncle after he's spoken of very publicly. But the people need to know and need to know soon about the threat at least. Your uncle's identity is in your hands.

I've given her directions to get to you, and I told her you're the only person she should speak to.

I know they're gonna punish him, I just don't know how much or if they'll kill him before we have the chance to get the word out. I don't want his death to be in vain.

I've already started writing, but this is hard. I want to present the fact without throwing my opinion all over the place. I want people to know my uncle is a good man, and that he was trying to do the right thing. I feel like the letter speaks for itself, but I know others might not feel that way. This feels like the most important thing I'll ever write.

	Thank you, darling. He'd have gone against their orders so I'm afraid things won't be good for him one way or another. And it won't be. We'll make sure of that. At this point, it is just that.
