Caleb wasn't so sure what had taken him by this particular route today, but he'd just felt like taking a little walk to stretch his legs out. It was a very nice change of pace to see colors other than green, even though that whole ordeal had been over with for several days now, Caleb still wasn't sure what exactly had happened. He also noted that he needed to go see Kyra, or else she was going to come down to his hut and well, he didn't really want anyone to see that.
So Caleb let his feet take him wherever they saw fit, and just kept walking. He'd probably get into trouble later for not being at work, but mostly everything that he had to do today was done. It'd take him two hours at most to finish things up, and Caleb? Well, he didn't really like getting too much of a head start on things.
He breathed in deeply, and turned his face up to the sky so the warm rays of the sun could hit his face. He loved summertime. He could deal with the heat, the humidity, and the fact that he didn't own an air conditioner. That? Didn't matter to him. What mattered to him was warm lake water, barbecues, and cold beers.
Caleb hadn't really noticed how close he'd gotten to the others until he heard a few people talking. He glanced up, giving nods and doing his best to avoid them as he sidestepped them. Of course now that he was nearer to town, he could go grab a few things to stock his shelves with. He paused, canting his head to the side at the cottage that had been abandoned for so long. Apparently someone was moving in, or they were breaking in? No, that couldn't be the case could it?
He chewed on the inside of his cheek, and then with a roll of his eyes and a sigh he headed towards the front door. He gave a knock on the open door, "Hello?" He called, looking around before he shoved his hands down into the pockets of his shorts.
