Who: Quinton and Open
When: evening
Where: Food shopping
What: Quinton is feeling unwell and collapses
Quinton had been staring at the same jar of pickles for about twenty minutes. Not that he even realised the time that was passing. Lately he hadn’t been sleeping too well and it wasn’t just the fault of all these nightmares spooking the general public. He looked unwell, almost grey. He had been working so hard with the huge load of extra panic calls being made and everyone at the station was exhausted. However he had suffered a lot in the last week and it was just all a little too much.
His lover had just disappeared, box and all, to where? Who knew? And finding out? Impossible. So he was left with worry and heartache and no one to look after Terry. So Terry had been put back in to day care. Quinton simply couldn’t afford it. His hours were getting worse too so he had no time for his son. He had left Terry with a neighbour he could trust for an hour or two while he got a break away and did some shopping, that he couldn’t afford.
He wondered if this was all the work of a demon, scaring all the residents. But whatever was causing all of this, he couldn't stop it. He'd just have to hope that one of the other residents of town could cope. He knew he was struggling too. But had to keep going!
He kept staring at the jar of pickles and swayed a little. What happened after that he wasn't quite sure. All he knows is that he was now waking up on the floor of the store.
