i haven't lost anything except my mind,

All weekend she had been lying prone on her mattress, largely unmoving save for the odd twitch of her limbs or roll of her eyes while ghosts ran amok around the hotel, unaware and unable to do anything about it. As Monday stretched into the evening hours though her eyes opened; instead of dark brown they were shot through with a luminescent green, much the same colour as the spirits that had been extracting themselves from her body over the course of the last few days. Morgan sat up, only she wasn’t so much Morgan anymore as she was an entity, an amalgamation of the ectoplasm she had been absorbing for the last few months, one that had finally gained control of her body enough to move it.

Blank faced she swung her legs over the side of the bed and stood up. Out. They had to get outside. There wasn't one ghost, one entity inside of her, it was an amalgamation and they had one goal in mind. To get outside and away from the hotel, to cause destruction and chaos and to be free, that was all that mattered now. Morgan's body moved towards the door of her room on the fourth floor and grabbed for the handle, only the fingers of the body wouldn't curl around it properly. Gathering necroplasm in the palm of her hand she took the alternate route and blew the door clean off its hinges, sending it rocketing across the corridor and slamming into the opposite wall in a splintered mess. Morgan half lurched through the gap, muscles taut and shaking with tension, head set at an obtuse angle, cloudy green eyes snapping to the left. If anyone got in her way now, they were going to be eating dust and carpet.

ooc: 'Morgan' is hell bent on making it out of the hotel and will be dealing with anyone who gets in her way pretty much just by knocking them down! Tag here if you want your character to have a run in with Not!Morgan :O

"Momo!"

The great racket of Morgan's bedroom door slamming against the wall had been the first indicator that something was wrong. Granted, there tended to be a lot of ridiculous happenstances at Paradise, but when things exploded, it tended to make Rahne sit up and take notice. The redhead had bolted up the stairs with all the speed she could. She came down the corridor in time to see Momo headed toward the opposite stairwell.

"Momo, hold on!" Rahne caught up with the other girl, grasping tightly at her forearm. "What the blazes is goin' on -- are ye all right?"

Sorry, Rahne. Momo wasn't really in control and the things that were definitely weren't in the mood to be stopped. Unresponsive to the calls of the name that designated the body the ectoplasm was possessing, Morgan only took notice of the other girl at the hand on her arm. Without a sound she wrenched her arm out of Rahne's grasp and brought her other hand up almost robotically to deliver the same fate the door had suffered to the mutant before her.

Removing the obstacles that stood in her way of freedom was her main focus and as she hit Rahne with a blast of greyish-green necroplasm her face didn't so much as twitch.

Rahne looked into her friend's eyes and realized that Morgan didn't live there anymore. She went wide-eyed and had no time to dodge or move before she was blasted backward, though she yelped in surprise. The frame of someone's door caught her as she flew back -- something in her shoulder popped nastily before she hit the floor, skidding across the floor.

All the while, Momo continued on her way. Rahne blinked groggily up from the floor. Damnation. This was problematic to say the least. Rahne new she needed to get up and run for help -- tell someone, find Warren, but the floor was so damned comfy. It was great, laying here. Maybe if she just closed her eyes for a little bit...

Myles hadn't been himself since they'd all woken up out of their coma, but few would notice it. He still went around doing his job, looking after reception and doing the stupid meaningless tasks no one else wanted to do and he'd agreed to because he was just that fucking nice. He'd brooded through the time Morgan had been unconscious, simultaneously worrying and being annoyed that she'd left him with all the reception work.

As soon as he heard the burst of noise from Level 4 he'd hit the panic button and raced up the stairs, having shifted into his more bestial form as he did so. By the time he reached Morgan there was little left of the usually sweet and passive boy, instead in his place a snarling wolfman who had about as much humanity in his eyes as she did. There was no warning from him either, just a leap as he was intent on tackling her to ground and stopping this rampage.
