He was frightened. He thinks I am working with el Reanimador. I made him leave, si. He was not going to be safe to be around in this place. Everything frightened him, and he was dangerous in his fear. Like when a scared animal lashes out. It is better that he went. [Rough location.] You do not mind? I can wait until light and walk out, but I cannot risk a taxi coming here, not with the muertos. [Pause] This house, Drake, es evil.

I believed he understood that I was not conspiring against him, but I was wrong. He saw my medical kit, and he became very frightened. I worry he will tell the others things that are not true. [That they will go to my casa.]

[Quiet for a moment.] What happened here, what he did, you can feel it on the air. I have not found any indication that his parents were bad people. How could he do this to them?

Want me to talk to him? [He might just do it anyway.] It looked like he took a pretty bad beating. He's probably still shaken up from the whole thing, and the fog wouldn't help. [...] It might look bad, but talking to the Reanimator and working with him are two different things.

[Pause. He's more than a little skeptical about the whole 'evil' thing, but doesn't bother vocalizing that.] He's hardly an upstanding citizen, Zari. People are capable of some pretty terrible things.
