He's different now. I know he's your father, Zari, but you have to consider the possibility that something might [...] go wrong. If you think he's heading down that road, you can't just ignore it and hope it goes away. It won't. [...] A few of the Masks are young. ~~I was young when~~ From what I hear he can handle himself just fine, but if you think he's in over his head maybe you should talk to him about it. They have some kind of system for their own, but I don't know how it works. What else did the Reanimator say?

He said many things. That he was making Araña suffer to make him stronger, that he was doing the things he was doing because the world saw him as malo, evil. I tried to ask him to stop, but he will not. I do not think anything can stop him now ~~and I allowed him to get away~~.

You may tell me that this is my fault.

[...] I already caused the man's death once, and whatever else you might think I really don't want to do it again, but I don't want ~~you~~ anyone else getting hurt either. I knew one of them back when I was a kid, and I guess you could say we're friends. He's a little occupied at the moment, though. The Spider and I have talked a few times but we're not exactly close.

I have patched Araña up twice now. He is a difficult patient. I knew one of them when I was young, the masks, before you, even. We have spoken, but he, too is busy often. I cannot imagine this life they lead. They will not trust me soon, I do not think. El Reanimador told Araña we spoke.

[...] I need samples, and the man and woman deserve a burial. They were good people once. They do not deserve to be destroyed and left there, as if no one cared about them. I will let you know once I am back, if it makes you worry less.

What he does is risky for an experienced adult, never mind someone younger. They've all got a lot to handle, between this crazy weather, Reanimator bringing people back to life all over the place and the usual common criminals. I'm guessing Spidey wasn't too thrilled by that?
