All writers get wanky from time to time, talking about their characters as if they're real. I'm no exception. Sadly, when I get into arguments with my characters, I tend to lose. It makes my mindscape an interesting place to cavort.
Sometimes it's one on one—just me and a muse, whether it's one of my own characters or one borrowed for a fanfic. Sometimes they gang up on me. Sometimes they make me completely superfluous and have at each other. Much of the time, the results of the skirmishes are more interesting than the stories themselves.
FYI: This is a personal community, as oxymoronic as that sounds. It's cool that we all have muses, but this playground is for my muses only. Sorry.
