The orphanage burned down, we're taking all of the kids to the Tower. Anybody who has any experience with children, if you have the time, come to the tower, we're going to need as much help as we can get. There's thirty something of them and their keeper usual care taker is out of commission, we can use all the help we can get.

So, you're probably super sick of our faces, but...Barry and I wanted to have a little get together for New Year's Eve. Nothing crazy or anything, nowhere near as hectic as Christmas. Just those of us who can see this, an array of wines, cheeses, crackers, and chocolates for a tasting, and watching the ball drop. Plus ones welcomed and encouraged. So, we're finally moved in and decorated and I know it's late notice, but. Barry and I would like to have Christmas dinner at our new apartment in Greenwich Village. So that means you're all invited. And Caitlin, I'm sorry and I love you, but you're still cooking because Thanksgiving was incredible and I'm not even sorry. I'll help you, though, I promise.

Children and significant others allowed but we're not baby- or kid-proofed, so...you know, be mindful of that, I suppose? We don't know anything about all that...so...but yeah. Come. :)

Okay, so I think it is pretty safe to say that I'm stuck here. Well, we're all stuck here, and it's NOT for the U.N. which is a total bummer. But that being said I think it's time to get organized and find a job. I haven't not worked in a long time. This could be the longest, and I've already made way too many binders - wait, what am I saying?! There's no such thing as too many binders. I need to hit the office supply place soon - I ran out of colored tabs.

But plans - here's what I want to do:

1) Find a job preferably in government.
2) Totally rock at the job.
3) Get promoted in job.
4) Visit the U.N.
5) Move in with Ann.
6) Get a job at the U.N.
7) Get promoted in said job at the U.N.
8) Visit iHop again. Stiles? Caroline? Care to join?
9) Help with Andy's Christmas party idea.
10) Bake for said Christmas party.
11) Reach out to the Mayor and ask if he knows about random people being transported here.
12) Find a way to work with the Mayor, if possible.
13) Catch a Broadway show.
14) Visit the U.N. again because it's the U.N.

So I would prefer those to be in order, but I understand if that's not possible because of how things work, or don't work here. Seriously, who's in charge of stuff because I can help with getting them straight.

Saw this guy on the way to class today and felt super smug about my own mode of transportation on and off campus. Nice try, buddy, but I'm pretty sure I win.

Christmas is coming! This is like, hands down, my very very favorite holiday of any holiday and I decorated my entire apartment and it looks amazing, thank you very much.

OMG could you imagine if we all did a secret santa? It would be the biggest secret santa ever, it would be so great, we should do it. Who wants to? I do. One vote for me.

I just found a really great health food place in Brooklyn Heights - all kinds of interesting, organic, fresh groceries. They even have Agave syrup smoothies. Chris would go crazy. I miss- Stop. Uh, even if you're not into that sort of stuff they have a heap of amazing smelling essential oils.

Anyway. So, how many of you guys found work in NYC after you woke up here? I think I'm going to spend everything I have on candles go a little stir crazy if I don't have something to keep me busy.
