Fic: A Religious Experience 1/1 Roswell
A Replay of my favorite scene, at the time this was written, this format was called novelization. Novelization was a fan effort to write what happened in the television show or movie for resource purposes. This was written shortly after the last episode aired for my good friend TK.
Title: A Religious Experience!
Novelized By: Lopaka Tanu
Disclaimer: I do not own Roswell
Warning: Present Tense
Summary: For all us fans from the beginning. A moment we will never forget, and a song we will cherish forever.
(Background Music: Fear, Sarah McLachlan)
Max tears open the aqua uniform as the blood starts to well up out of the wound. " Uh... it's going to be okay."
A blond tourist looks down on them and screams, "Oh my god!"
Before she can see any more, Michael pulls her back with the growing crowd. "Hey, get back!"
Desperately, Max forces Liz to look him in the eyes. "Liz! Liz! You have to look at me! You have to look at me!" Bonelessly, Liz turns her head to look at him while he places a hand over the wound. When his hand starts to glow, images flash into view of their lives. With a deep sigh he removes his hand, showing unblemished skin. "You are all right now. You are all right."
Michael shouts in anger and fear as he tries to get a grip on the situation. He turns to the kneeling Max and calls out, "Keys! Now!"
Standing, Max throws him the keys before turning back to Liz, who is trying to sit up, but clutches her stomach. He kneels again, grabbing a ketchup bottle. Turning his head, he cracks it open and pours the ketchup on her uniform. "You broke the bottle when you fell and spilled ketchup on yourself. Don't say anything, please." He pleads with her as he runs out of the cafe to climb in the waiting jeep and takes off.
Liz watches him go as she holds her uniform closed. Her expression is one of total confusion as Maria wipes at her with a cloth.
"Liz, are you okay?" Maria's concerned voice doesn't even register as Liz watches the window, mentally reviewing what just happened.
In memory of Roswell, October '99 - May '02.
I realize this ruins my Polar Cred, but it was still the most beautiful part of the show. This was why I started watching.
