Premise So, right. We all make mistakes. We all screw things up. Even the self-proclaimed Gods screw things up now and again, right? They just have the power to cover it up so we can pretend it never happened. You remember that big plague that accidentally wiped out half the universe? Of course you don't - they hid that little mistake with some creative bookkeeping. So why is that when Cupid missed, he got banished to some forgotten, alternate universe that had been divested of all its people? Sure, all right, the person in question might have been a God, and sure, all right, the person he hit might have had a serious grudge against the person he was shooting for, and granted, their romance might have ended up in world-burning flames ... ... but why wasn't anyone around to cover his ass? Fortunately, he had a friend so to speak, who pulled a few strings and struck a few deals. The world would be populated with people for him to practice his aim on, and maybe if he got good enough, they'd reinstate him. Until then, he was on his own in an empty world filled with what people could be spared from their own realities.

Premise

Life as you know it is about to be turned upside down. You receive notice that you have been accepted into the ranks of the Imperial Capital Defense Program for your impressive spiritual energy levels. It isn't until your arrival at headquarters that you learn what this means. The world around you is under attack, which is kept secret from the general public. Demon forces are attacking around the world and governments have been constructing Assault Teams to fight back. All over the world, there are groups dedicated to defeating these foes. You have been invited to become part of one of these teams. However, there is another slight detail to the job description. In order to prepare spiritually and mentally for battle, you must also be able to perform in the theatrical arts. Are you up to the challenge?

That is why NFPDR was created. NFPDR is a pan-fandom (all fandoms apart from Harry Potter are welcomed), freeform RPG, but without the social politics associated with fandom. We don't care who you are, what you look like, what game consoles you own, or anything irrelevant. All we care about is your character. NFPDR: fandom without fanbrats.

NFPDR is freeform, panfandom (except Harry Potter), and friendly to het, yaoi, yuri and even non-smut RP. We do comedy and serious. We do canon and crack. What we do NOT do is people launching personal vendettas against eachother, cliques of players ganging up on outsiders, and in general anything that resembles backstabbery and high-school-playground-ism.

It began with a vaccine. A way to protect those who weren't already afflicted with HIV, and to perhaps help cure those who were. It was meant to save mankind. Instead, it condemned them to extinction. Entire cities fell virtually overnight. Chaos filled the streets. Governments were overturned, anarchy became the new order. Hope was lost until, almost eighteen months after the ordeal first began, a small group of the brightest minds came together and created a plan to save the world. In 2025, New Hope was created. A large, domed facility built just outside Geneva, Switzerland, New Hope was meant to be their salvation. It was safe, from both the elements and the dying victims that still roamed the neighboring hills. There was a chance to start fresh, to create life once more. They simply had to find a cure. Unfortunately, with their own health waning and time running out, a cure was further from their grasps than the stars in the sky. The answer came, they thought, in the form of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator, LHC was capable of creating a gap, between time and space. It was with this theory that the scientists spent the final moments of their life preparing New Hope for the arrivals. Videotapes, audio recordings, even written instructions were set in place to answer any questions. The message they left was loud and clear. These arrivals were the last hope of a dying planet. Together, they may be able to find a cure. If not, it was up to them to ensure the planet survived. The year is now 2030. For five long years, New Hope has remained empty. The scientists are long since dead and the most amazing creation of their time is slowly crumbling from neglect and decay. Yet the LHC has never once faltered in its daily attempts to open the hypothesized rift. And at long last, it is beginning to succeed. New people are arriving almost daily. Some pulled here without their knowledge, some coming in the name of exploration. Beings of all shapes and sizes, all walks of life, now roam the streets of New Hope. They have been assigned a task by those before them to save the world. That is, of course, provided they're capable of surviving themselves. New Hope is a multi-fandom RPG. We allow for most any fictional character from most any fictional setting. This game is set on a Post-Apocalyptic Earth in a fictional city which does not exist in any known fandom. The gods are up to no good again. A large conference was called, many showed up, many others deemed it not worth their precious time. The proceedings were long, drawn out and arguments were had. Many plans were drawn up, discussed, thrown out and redone. One plan was finally agreed upon.

A plan that would change the course of a chosen few of their followers.

All the worlds, all the times, beings could feel the pull. The mansion called, beckoned them to a time in paradise, held them within the confines of the island. Here only the mansion ruled, ever changing, ever listening, and all knowing.

Welcome to San Revereld. It's your average city with people hustling and bustling around, people rushing to their homes and their jobs, carrying on with their lives. You used to be like them, remember? You used to be happy, alive, and well.

Unfortunately for you, you're dead. Oh come on, it's not that bad. But I bet you're wondering why you're still in the city, aren't you? Well see, here's the thing. You're dead...but you haven't exactly passed on to the afterlife. No, no, it's okay! We have a job for you.

As an undead like myself, you're being recruited to be a grim reaper and collect souls. It's your job to find the souls we assign you to and remove them from their bodies before their estimated time of death. Otherwise, they’re just going to rot and waste. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. There are rules on this job. Rules, regulations, and a shitload of changes you’re going to have thrown at you. But I'll explain those later, we have to get going. The others are waiting for us.

Reapercussions is a multifandom AU game at Insanejournal. We are looking for characters from anime, manga, and video games, both alive and undead. We want a good balance of both kinds of people! The game is just getting started so we have a myriad of characters available! Friendly mods and active players. We have no age limit but there will be mature themes such as violence, homosexuality, and of course death. We feel that as long as a player feels they can handle such issues, there is no issue.

Welcome to San Revereld. Hate to break it to you, kid, but you’re dead. And the ones who aren’t dead, their time’s probably coming up real quick.

Here in San Revereld, we have two kinds of people running around. There’s those normal human kind, the living. We used to be like that once. And then there’s the undead, like us. We’re dead but we’re stuck. Look, you already went through the first four stages of death: you denied it, you got pissed, you tried bargaining for another chance, you were depressed about it…suck it up and accept it. We’ve got a job for you.

Your job, as an undead soul, is to be a grim reaper and collect souls. We assign the souls to you and you as the bringer of death have to collect them from the body. Reapercussions is a game over on Insanejournal. It’s an AU multi-fandom game that’s just getting started so we have a lot of characters available! We accept characters from all anime, manga, video game, Harry Potter, and Heroes fandoms! Friendly atmosphere with active players and active moderators! We are basically rated PG-13, with themes that will cross into the R-rating category. We encourage all ages so long as the player feels they can handle the issues.

The Ultimate Chessboard: Chaos Unraveled
Ever wanted a place to RP any type of character, be it an OC, a book character, a video game character, movie character, anime, manga, tv show character, etc....? Chaos Unraveled is the place to turn to!

God actually made several different universes in an attempt to make a place that satisfied him, and Satan in turn did his best to ruin it all. Finally, tired of each other (or in some eye's, to entertain themselves), the two agreed to one final, long, tiresome game to determine who would win ultimate control over the universe.

Vampires, angels, demons, elves, mechanics from Earths so technologically advanced that they can control the weather, all are possible creatures, and there are still so many more. Both God and Satan have chosen people, forming a group to fight for their side. Whether they are willing or not, each has been "employed" and drawn into a singular realm to play out their roles.

To ensure that the game is carried out properly, God and Satan joined together to make a seperate world solely for the competition. Each sent down their number one servant to play as leaders and lookouts to ensure their sides follow the rules properly. Metatron and Lucifer await to give out the competitions and tests that God and Satan have called them to fulfill. They even plan out the living arrangements!

And so each character is taken to their respective headquarters and has the situation explained to him or her.

Will you help your team or hinder it? Will you do anything at all? Will you add your own mix of chaos to the already mixed up and confusing situation? Will you carry your team to victory?

Will it be heaven, or hell?

Should your side win, you will be able to return home. Should you lose, you will remain forever in this limbo of a world...

Beware, though - as the chaos unravels, your character may fall in love, make wonderful friends, or experience the crazy events that occur randomly due to the instability of the realm!

Basically, this RP is intended to be a place where people have fun. The goal isn't actually who wins, it's about the character interaction and the plots as things go. Check us out, we're a friendly community! Remember, you can be ANYONE from ANY story, mythology, realm, book, tv show, etc. as long as you follow the rules and play nice!
