Who: Edwin, Bunny!Vanessa, and OPEN! When: Morning Where: Billiard Room
Edwin woke up feeling a lot of things, most of which were some form of discomfort. His throat felt dry and sore, and his neck ached like he'd slept in a bad position. He felt a strange pressure across the front of his body, like was leaning on something, but that was hardly noticible when his whole body seemed to be under pressure. In his sleepy, not-quite-conscious state, he imagined that he had somehow found himself in the grips of some sort of boa constrictor, squeezing him to the point that he felt like he couldn't take as deep of a breath as he would have liked. He was used to being held tight in his sleep, and he was guilty of squeezing Oliver just as much, but this wasn't that.
Thinking about how off everything felt, and just how much of his body was being squeezed, brought Edwin out of his sleep quicker than he usually was able to wake himself, though for a moment, he wasn't sure that he really was fully conscious. This wasn't the view from his bed. This was the view of... Was that the pool table? Was he floating above the pool table? Was he on the ceiling? What the hell was this Poltergeist bullshit?
Even as he became more awake and aware, he couldn't quite make sense of what was happening, and he wasn't sure if it all just didn't make sense, or if his brain was rebelling at the slightest bit of extra height. He looked at himself, trying to determine how he was stuck up there, and finding himself practically encased in rope. Wiggling didn't seem to make the rope any looser, though he wasn't sure that he wanted that exactly when he couldn't move his limbs to catch himself if he fell. He was in the billiard room, he was sure of that much, at least, and he hoped that that meant that hope was nearby, though when he tried to call for it, it felt like his throat closed up, and would not allow the opportunity to make any sort of helpful noise.
And then came the realization that he wasn't alone up there. It felt silly not to notice it sooner, but he'd been caught up in his own plight, trying to find his easiest escape. A scan of the room didn't offer help, it just offered... that. That bunny. It was an ugly thing. Unsettling. Even though it seemed to be in the same predicament as he was, he didn't like that it was there. He didn't know why it was there. Hanging him up high, making him deal with heights to freak him out? That he understood. Why they did it with a bunny? Well, maybe it was just to cause this reaction. To confuse and unsettle him more than just with the height. Like he needed something else to make him wish he could scream for an escape.
He stared at the thing, and it's weird, creepy eye holes that he couldn't see through, and tried to decide if squirming was worth it after all.
