Everyone was back to normal, sort of, but Hori didn't feel all that different. He sort of stood there, looking at the wedding party that was frozen and frowned. They were making oaths, and Hori mere presence wasn't sending anyone into fits of lies anymore, and he should have felt better right? Maybe Ate was right and he just needed some sort of...hobby.

And while the idea of checking up on Eris came to mind, he imagined she was still at the house with siblings, or with Apollo. And none of her company appealed to him. Which left...Lethe, or Elpis.

Lethe, though, was probably alright. Tucked away in her comfortable home, and maybe Elpis would want to go with him to see her. And he hadn't had the chance to really talk to Elpis yet anyway. So, well... Hmmm.

"Elpis?" He called out, tugging at the emotional ties to his sister that could act like that 'hey, look at ME' attention getting bell. "Elpis!"

Elpis had been sunk neck-deep in a tangled skein of mortal histories when Hori called out to her. She had surrounded herself with the shining life threads of anyone who could have even remote relation to a descendent of her family... or, more specifically, Lethe. The whole ordeal was alot harder than it had sounded when her sister had asked her to "find her son." Like if she jsut stuck her head over the edge of Olympus, the kid would wave up at her or something.

Anyhow, the goddess was pushing aside some lengthy printouts of genealogy reports when she heard the somewhat high-pitched call of her brother. Oh, Hori! Elpis looked up, blinking and waving aside life-threads, replying in surprise, "...Hori?"

Right, he wasn't here. But apparently he needed her, and that was certainly a rare enough thing that it had Hope rising from her seat and smoothing her pale summer dress, winking from her location to just in front of her brother.

When Elpis saw Hori, she smiled broadly and went to hug him, "Hi Hori!" Only the strange stillness around them caught her attention first, and the small goddess paused. "....oh my."

	"Kinda weird, isn't it?" Hori almost laughed, except it was a bit of a serious thing. People were not supposed to be frozen. "We go back to normal, then the world stops. You think Aphrodite did it on purpose?" But pushing those thoughts aside, Hori waved it all off to give Elpis a huge and kiss on the cheek. "I didn't see you at the party...did you go?" Elpis's smile returned when Hori laid a kiss to her cheek. She looked up at him for a blank moment, tilting her head to one side. "....what party?.. I've, uh... been kind of busy. There was a party?"

Bummer. A Party and she missed it. Though if it were anything like the one currently around them, then it couldn't have been too great. The goddess moved away from her sibling to touch one of the groomsmen, frozen in a rictus of laughter. He felt cool and hard, almost like wax. "...huh. I can't imagine Aphrodite intended this. she needs the world to move for her powers as much as anyone."

"Yeah, Moms tossed one for gramps. Was kinda a bummer. Everyone was there, Nom gave me all this 'you can't talk to twiggy! He likes me better!' looks, and Kia wasn't all that keen on being a hundred feet near me." He shrugged, "Strife and Twigs weren't bad. And 'Te of course."

Still he liked his lips, before brushing a hand through his hair as he smiled a little. "So, I thought I'd come check up on you. Ate says I need a hobby anyway...says I'm getting too apathic."

As for the whole frozen people and powers, "makes you want to draw mustaches on their faces, doesn't it?"

Elpis Laughed, looking over her shoulder at Hori, "...yeah, kinda. Especially on the ladies." She wrinkled her nose, still grinning.

The thought of a party involving her entire, not-so-functional family was somewhat unsettling, though, so Elpis let her features smooth out as she considered the missed event. "Wow. I didn't even know Grandpa was on the Mount. Mom must have really enjoyed that." The goddess smirked crookedly, "...Was this party before or after the whole change back to normality?" Because if everyone were there, then that meant Lethe was there and.... well, was it expecting too much to hope her sister would remember her own child?

Shrugging and ambling away from the cluster of groomsmen and bridesmaids, Elpis picked upa a glass of champagne and sipped it thoughtfully, "I'm not sure checking in on me was exactly was Ate had in mind when she suggested you get a hobby. I'm mostly boring anyway, all I do is go around cheering people up...." Hope trailed off, then gestured around her with the half empty wine glass, "and you can see how well that is going to work."

"We could give the bride a total Hitler-stach." Hori laughed, before he sighed softly and pursed his lips.

"It was before the return to normalcy. Though things seemed to get back to normal at the end." Still, he shrugged as he sat on a table and kicked his legs back and forth. "And Mom did love it, and Ate cooked. Twiggy protested food, as usual, and oh! Styx was there, and totally hit Ate? We should so like...TP her castle-o-gloom-and-hate."

Of course then Elpis started in on the 'oh I'm kinda boring' speech. Blah blah, "hey, remember who you're talking to here. I took care of Moms, and wasn't badass enough to get tossed in a box. At least you have something you can be all 'I am bitter!' about." He smirked softly, "and besides, you're my only little sibling. Don't I get to be a little big brotherish? Would it be too much to ask? I promise I'm the best at helping and taking care of people! And I promised Ate anyway, along with taking of you, and I'd take care of Lethe!....So you are kinda stuck with me, Loser though I may be."

"Oh Hori, you're not a loser!" Elpis turned to look at him, earnest and smiling, "And I'm glad you're being 'Big brotherish'... none of our other brothers are, you know. And Ate is more like a mom than a big sister." Though Ate probably wouldn't like hearing that. Elpis grinned.

The goddess returned to her sibling's side, hopping up on the table next to him and plucking up a cheese cube. "Being bitter isn't really in my typical mode of operation..." Although, perhaps that wasn't true.

"...buuuut... I could be persuaded to vandalize Styx's house.." Snickering quietly, she popped the cheese into her mouth and chewed. "The look on her face would be priceless. oh, and then we should go check in on Lethe. I worry that changing back into, you know, herself might have totally disoriented her. Remember how bad off she was right before the switcharoo happened?"

"You mean when she and Twigs were all 'Hi I'm Leia' and stuff?" He smirked a little, "was kinda funny in hind-sight. At least Limos actually noticed something outside his own little half-starved world for once."

But he nodded, legs swinging back and forth under the table as he thought about it. "And yeah, we should go check in on her. Maybe bring some flowers and food and stuff. Underworld can be kinda dark and lonely, so we should bring some color or something. And maybe a shag carpet."

Elpis blinked, "where are we gonna get a shag carpet? Time-Warp 1975?" She reached over and shoved at Hori's shoulder lightly, smirking at him. It was amusing, in a way, how completely unalike they looked, yet how similar they were in comparison to the rest of their family.

"You shouldn't be so hard on Limos, Horky" Elpis grinned teasingly, "He can't help how he is about personal vanity, just as Lethe can't help how she is with her memory." The goddess shrugged, glancing around them distractedly at the wedding flower arrangements. "...do you think the flowers will stay fresh because time has stopped? We could take some of these to Lethe and not worry about them wilting in the dark down there..."

"Yeah...I mean its just the step to the left, and hop to the...whatever, and then you do the time-warp aaaaggain." He sang the last part badly, before slipping an arm about her neck and giving her a noogie. "No, seriously? Vintage shopping in New York City. Awesome." It was clear what Hori got up to when he wasn't taking care of work or their mother.

"I like Twigs, honest! When he isn't with Kia or Nom, or anyone else all crazy and manic like, he's a good guy. Takes care of the fam, all that fun stuff. But you know, he can be a right dick sometimes too..." It was true. Hope and Oath, being the two so called 'good kids', had both had their fair share of experience in being the continual butts of jokes. And whatever else none-sense there was. "And what I don't get? His vanity...Cos when he ain't all dolled up? He's kinda freakish. For that matter, he's kinda freakish all dolled up too. His cheeks look like they'll eat themselves at any moment." He made a fish face at her as if to drive the point home.

But then she was talking about the flowers, and he looked at them a bit oddly. "I don't know...maybe? Don't see why not."

"Hey, ack!" Elpis flailed when Hori grabbed her and effectively destroyed her pretty hair with his noogieing. She batted at him until he left her free, then straightened and smoothed futiley at her now-tangled hair. She huffed, blowing several loose strands out of her eyes and shooting Hori a mischievous look, "you're such a girl, Hori! You sound like Limmy, talking about shopping in NYC!" Laughing, the goddess hopped off the table and scooted away before she could be wrangled into another noogie.

"Limos may look kind of creepy to the rest of us, but thats sort of the point, isn't it? It's all about warped perspective and how it can drive you to grotesque extremes." Elpis pulled her ponytail holder form er hair and shook it out. "That being said... it's really no fun to hug him. All hard edges."

Hope reached out to finger some of the white roses in the arrangement at the center of the table. They too were still and cool, and the goddess 'hmmed' softly. "...well, its worth a shot with the flowers. Maybe we're better write a card so Lethe can remember who theyre from..."

"What kind of card should we get?" Or actually, it was more of what should they make. Hori hopped off the table to join her, picking up the rose and inspecting them. "We could always bring her more, anyway. I'm sure Demeter might have something we can give her."

Of course getting Demeter to give them a favor was another story. Mm, it was, as Elpis said, worth a shot.

"Come on, lets get a card and go check up on her. And then maybe we'll go say hi to Moms."

Elpis's features soured slightly at the whole 'saying hi to mother' thing, but she didn't let Hori catch sight of the grimace. Instead, the goddess plucked up some baby's breath and white stock, turning to her brother to hand them to him. "yeah, ok. Maybe we could get one of those cards that sings or records our voices or something. Then everytime she opened it, it'd remind her of everything that's happened." Considering the fact that there was no, 'sorry your powers were inverted but are now normal and you've forgotten it' cards.

Elpis plucked up an abandoned ribbon from the wedding gifts, pausing to peer at the wrapped boxes curiously. Maybe Lethe would like a blender...

"You know, Demeter doesn't mind me so much. It's just the fact that we all remind her of Limos." returning to Hori, Hope twines the ribbon around the stems of the gathered flowers. "and anyway, she'll probably be pretty upset over all of nature being frozen with time..."

	"Mm, probably..." He shrugged though, not sure what to say about what was going on. But he turned to Elpis and smiled softly. "Come on, lets go check on Lethe. Make sure she settled in and everything alright." (Reply to this) (Parent)
