As soon as she was no longer being paid attention to by Nyx and Reb, she calmed down quite a bit, becoming more her regular self than she had been in weeks. Harmonia bounced lightly as she looked at Strife, leaning up to kiss his cheek before stepping behind him and reaching up to cover his eyes with her hands.

"You're going to love this. It's so freaky."

With a thought she transported them both to the big top she had recently abandoned, and faced him toward the crowd, showing him the frozen masses.

"Oh but wait! that's not all! If you order now, you get an extra bonus for the same low price..."

Her hands slid down to his arms and turned him around quickly, towards the trapeze... where the aerialists were hanging in midair, not even moving. Pulling her hands back, she clapped lightly, looking at him expectantly.

He loved it when Harmonia let spontaneity steer her to do things like blindfold him with her hands without fair warning.

When she uncovered his eyes he was at a circus, under the tent, looking at a mass of people that were...were they real? Mannequins?

And then Harmonia practically spun him around where he viewed a most sublime sight! They were people suspended in the air, just dangling there. Some were so high they could have looked like they were painted on the ceiling if your eyes didn't focus while you looked up at them; others could have been hung by invisible string if he didn't know any better.

"Far out! This is--Is this for real? Dude, whoever did this is a genius!"

"It is. I love it. I knew you'd like it!"

She clapped again, heels bouncing as she looked up at the people.

"I came to walk the rope and make sure I was all normal again, and found this. And it's outside, too! Even the elephants. It's crazy. I think I adore whoever did this."

She grinned, so pleased he liked it as well as she did. In theory, it was all very chaotic, and she was mostly a being of order... but surprisingly, nothing really seemed out of balance. It was just all... still.

"The elephants too," he asked with a wide eyed mischievous expression.

"Can we touch them? Move them? Will they do anything?"

He walked up in front of the audience and waved a hand in front of child's face noticing nothing but the same delighted expression.

"Ooo. Think we could knock one of the trapeze artists out of the sky with a..."

He materialized an a bright red apple in hand, "Do you think if it hit one it would bounce off, make the mortal fall, or just nudge'em out of place?"

This was great!

"I... I have no idea what would happen. I've never seen anything like this. Who freezes a circus?"

She followed him closer to the audience, and reached out to poke one carefully, hand jerking back as if she expected it to fall over and break.. which it didn't, thankfully. Shattering people generally seemed like a bad idea.

"I'm not sure if that's so smart. What if it... broke? I think that might be beyond glue..."

"Beats me! But whoever did it has a great sense of humor!"

He watched her poke one of the people like it was a dead animal and she was curious to see how stiff it was.

"Huh... I didn't think about that. Maybe we can set them up like dominos, " he jested.

"What happens when they wake up though? they'd be so confused. And we might miss it, unless we stayed. The weird part? Nothing feels really wrong. Or it all feels very muted. Like there's no influence here."

She bit her lip as she looked around, the weirdness of it all beginning to encroach on the novelty.

"Was it your sister, maybe? She didn't seem to like circuses much."

"Well umm seee? That would be the fun part. Set them up like dominos and make sure one falls into the others and see if they all fall down!"

He frowned, he wasn't really planning on staying here for however long it took them to thaw or whatever it was they needed to do to be like animated and stuff again.

"Yea I didn't think about us having to hang around to see it..."

Harmonia was right. It didn't feel like there was any influence here and some of the gods had tale tale signs that something was their work.

"Nah---She's more into bars and courtrooms."

"She was into bars and courtrooms, and didn't like circuses, but what if when she got switched, she.... oh, no. That doesn't make any sense at all, does it? Nevermind..."

She waved away that errant thought, and debating his domino theory a bit more.

"I suppose if no one was going to get hurt, then moving them about might not be too bad. If we even can. What if they're also frozen in space? Or what if moving them somehow changes the entire time/space continuum creating paradox?"

She had no idea what the time/space continuum was, truly, but it sounded like something that might be of import in a situation like this. And they seemed to find it very important on the television, though she never remembered to ask what it was.

"It would be funny, though..."

Strife's face was the paradigm of confusion. He didn't think Kia could do something like this, this was just too good, too brilliant, not that Kia didn't do good work, just that you usually knew it when you saw it. This was just---bizarre.

His jaw dropped, he hadn't thought about a paradox and how doing anything would affect anything else. He had just been thinking of what mischievous things he could do, but what if by having fun they'd do irreparable damage?

"Oh no! Your right! I didn't think of that! We have to think of the time/space continuum!"

He'd seen Star Trek, Lost in Space and some other sci-fi stuff. He simply nodded a bit disheartened when she said that his domino idea would have been fun if they could have executed it, but now it might be too risky.

"We should go tell your mom about the time/space continuum problem. Cuz you know someone else might offset it by like doing something fun and like screw up whatever makes up the fabric of the dimensions."

"My mother?"

She frowned again, not sure of this... if Aphrodite didn't already know about the continuum, then she might ask for her to explaini t, and then she'd just be lost. Of course, she could always foist the explanation off onto someone else... always a viable possibility.

"Fabric of dimensions? I'm not sure if she'd know what to do with that. After the whole Athena thing, she doesn't sew... she's not allowed. Of course, I guess she could be allowed to now, being Queen, and all. You know who'd know about Time, though?"

She turned to him with a grin, an answer in her sights.

"Cronus would, right? He said we should visit."

Strife was sort of lost for a moment...

Did the gods actually sew the fabric of the dimensions with their hands?

"Ah-ha! Cronus! Brilliant baby! We should visit him!"

And as an afterthought, "Think we should take something? Like a--a--a fruit basket?"

"A fruit basket?"

She pondered this for a moment, then offered a bit of a shrug.

"I bet we could find one somewhere. I think he's more of carnivore, though..."

Did one eat a nice bunch of grapes when noshing on one's children? She just didn't know.

He stifled a giggle, "A meat basket! I don't think that's what they are actually called though. They got like jerky and salami and crackers and stuff in them...?"

"OH! With the little round pre-wrapped cheeses... They are cute. Who wouldn't love the gift of sausages?"

Harm was a fan of food, and didn't see why this wouldn't be welcomed by everyone.

"They have them at the places with all the people and the stores and the elves with the tree and the lights... with the food court place."

Strife was lost when Harmonia started talking about elves and tree and the lights...

Was it Christmas time already?

"Ummm yea. Let's put one together! Where do we get a basket? Is there like a shop that just sells baskets around? I remember they used to be everywhere!"

"Not at the circus, they don't... unless it's on the fairway, and you can't win a prize if nothing moves."

She stepped closer to him and took his hand, squeezing her fingers as she took them both to the mall, the stillness of the people possibly creepier as they all stood perpetually partaking of their consumeristic ways... At least expected... nay, hoped for freaktastic things at a circus.

"I think they sell everything here. Where should we start?"

She wandered over to a nearby directory and studied it with a clueless intensity... reading English wasn't her strong point... and even if it were, it wasn't like she knew what any of the stores sold.

"Banana Republic? Is that south of Africa?"

She glanced at Strife with confusion... why would a place like that be in a mall?
