She sighed morosely, looking at the bottle of Jack and shrugged, taking a swig herself, and immediately choking.

"Oh, god... *that* is what you drink all the time?"

She was probably going to be sick now. It'd be a good reason to not go through with things.

"yes... no. Sort of? He wants more, I said it can't happen, he said why, I said because, he said fine, the next step is mine. So basically, he left it up to me, so I guess he's ok with it? Whatever, it's not going to happen."

She groaned, one hand pressing against her stomach. It was basically the first hard liquor she'd ever had a shot of... and there was nothing in her stomach to absorb it.

"I might be sick."

Of course, the fact that her stomach was in knots already didn't help any.

She growled and sat up, looking at everything and decided she was dine, closing her eyes as she changed out of her work clothes into a dress a bit more suitable to any sort of gathering... with the added bonus, of course, that her mother would hate it. She snagged one bowl off the table and handed it to Kia, taking the remaining tray and moved toward the door.

"Let's get this stuff out there and get this over with..."

Momos nodded to his mother and father then left the garden, shooting Thanatos an odd 'what the hell are you wearing?' look before moving towards the kitchen.

Opening the door, he came face to face with Ate and his eyes ate her up. She looked phenomenal in her dress and he just wanted to take her in his arms and hold her against him. He looked up and saw Kia smirking at him with a knowing look on her face.

"Just gonna stand there and stare, Uncle? Or are you gonna fucking talk to her?" Kia asked before moving past both of them and out into the garden area.

His eyes locked back onto Ate's and he swallowed harshly.

"Dad wants a cake. Chocolate with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles."

Whatever she was going to say to Kia was lost as she turned and saw Momos there, looking rather fine, with an odd look on his face. Kia's words brought her back and she just scowled at her sister, flashing Momos a smirk. There was no reason to not talk to him...

"Sorry. She was dropped on her head as a child. Repeatedly. From a high distance."

Waiting to hear what he wanted, she was a bit disheartened to hear about... cake. For Erebus, no less. Sure, he'd said she'd have to go to him, but... really. Cake?

"Does he. I didn't make cake."

Sucked to be Reb right about now.

He gave her a sort of half smirk, not able to stop his eyes from slowly going up and down her body. He wanted to tell her just how beautiful she looked, but it was her turn. Her turn to want him for longer than a night.

"That explains some things, doesn't it?"

"Conjure a cake?" She scrunched her nose at the idea. She might not like Erebus... and she might cheat while making it... but she wasn't going to just conjure up some grocery store chocolate cake. She was mildly insulted at the idea... but he didn't know better.

"It sounds like a favor. I think the going price of a favor is one kiss, freely given. With no expectations attached."

She watched him for a reaction, tongue flicking out against her lips nervously, and wondered if she could blame this on the Jack.

	His eyebrow lifted in surprise. He wondered if she even knew what she was asking for. "Sounds fair." Moving closer to her, he took the food out of her hand and placed it on the table behind her. Eris smiled at Momos, lifting a brow at the kiss to her cheek.

"Really, Momos... you keep being nice to me, and I'm going to forget we don't get along." Still, the flowers made her smile, and she took both gifts as she stepped aside to let him in.

"Not at all... I've got Hori, Limos, Nom, Kia, Ate and Neikos... Thanatos is here somewhere, Mother and Father, and Kakia. Everyone's in the Garden, or on their way..."

Her tone was forlorn.. .she was well aware the reason for the brightness inside was herself and Reb. It wasn't so much the whole gathering thing that was really so awful to her... It was everyone seeing them like...well, like this. Who wanted their children to see them at the worst. At least the children looked well... most of them.

She smiled at Momos... occasionally Reb got these craving, and if he wanted cake, he'd be a curmudgeon all night if there was none. He's be a curmudgeon all night no matter what, she was sure, but cake might at least let him ignore some of the annoyance that were bound to happen.

"After all love, it is a party for you."

She let Eris lead them into the garden, quickly taking stock of who was there, and who wasn't... Oh dear. Was that Thanatos in white? She really, really hated Apollo.

After entering into the garden his eyes of course gravitated to the brightest thing there because it stood out like a sore thumb and just so happened to be his son, "Bloody inferno! What the hell is that!?"

He looked at Momos, "Look! Look what that bastard did to my little boy! White!"

He looked dejected, "If I was the crying sort, I'd do that now."

Eris muttered lightly as she watched Momos get greeted like... they liked him, and thought that was going to work just as well as any assholishness on his part. She was just about to roll her eyes when the door opened again, offering entrance to her sister.

"Styx... Wow. Keep showing up this often, It'll be like we're neighbors. Everyone's in the Garden."

She flashed a smile at Zelos, his lack of enthusiasm only bolstering her spirits.

No apathy. That was something you had to repeat to yourself a lot when faced with issues of apathy. Standing in the garden he watched as Limos and Nom conversed, and Niekos was....somewhere. And well, just a lot of siblings he didn't really get on that well with.

Where was Lethe?

And Elpis?

He knew where Ate was, but he also knew that Kia was there talking too. Which was usually the 'stir clear' sign in life. There was no point in causing trouble for Mum's party.

Even if trouble was sort of the point.

Mmm...what to do then?

	He was in the garden making a bouquet out of all the pretty...flowers, all except those with teeth because they nipped at his fingers when he tried to pluck one up. He was happy to be here though, even if he was a little bit bored. Thanatos woke up and wondered how long he'd slept with the realization dawning on him that today was *that* day. He didn't even want to go downstairs, but he suspected he owed Eris that much.

He didn't know what to wear as he stared at his heavy robes hanging over a chair; it seemed to hot for them or anything he usually wore which consisted of dark colours and warm textures. So he decided for this evening, if only for this evening, he'd dress in white because to thwart the heat.

He moved downstairs and out into the garden...
