Sunday evening, Celeste's Apt, for Jude.

[ooc: warnings for probable smut]

After a phonecall late afternoon, Celeste had rushed back up to her apartment, checking that it was suitable for entertaining Jude. It was, thankfully, and she had enough ingredients in the fridge that she hadn't even had to pop out to buy anything for dinner. It was simple enough that she had plenty of time to make sure that she was looking utterly fabulous in an aqua dress, simple gold jewellery and black shoes to complete the outfit.

Checking her lipstick in the mirror, she lit a cigarette, standing by her open window as she waited for Jude to arrive.

Manly Multi-pup; All around the Manor; Thursday evening.

Niles was sitting in the Mocha, sprawled across one of the couches staring with an entirely confused expression at the cook book that was open in his lap. He'd been kicking around the idea of surprising Elspeth with something nice and boyfriendy. Someone had suggested a romantic dinner. He didn't know how to cook much other than Cajun food, which he prepared for them all the time. So... Something different? And how the fuck did anyone find a keish appetizing?

Smith was on his way from the garage back into the Manor, tugging impatiently at his tie. Who the hell decided formal dress on a day as hot as this was a good idea? Suits made him feel suffocated on the best day, and that feeling was only quantified when it was hot enough to melt balls outside. Disguested, he tugged his jacket off too for good measure and caught sight of the awesome wet rings under his arm pits from sweat in the reflective doors of the elevater. "Brilliant," he muttered to himself.

Declan was out in the garden, though he was safe in the shade as smoke billowed from his mouth while he talked on his cell phone. The daughter of someone his mother had known had recently gone missing and apparently they suspected the same person that had left the governor's daughter spread all over the City in little bits. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he muttered a series of "uh huh" "yes, mother" and "I will," as he promised to keep a closer eye on Sterrin. As though that were possible.

Drew stood in line in the Mocha, still in his hospital scrubs as he rubbed warily at his forehead. He was glad these scrubs, the rather unbecoming shade of green that they were, were at least comfortable and lightweight. They made days like today, after he'd had an especially bad day, more tolerable. Yes, it only meant that he didn't have to fuck with a button and a zipper when he was ready to crawl in bed, but sometimes you just had to appreciate the little things in life.

Seamus was in the lobby, having just come from visiting Conn to discuss something about the Lamb. Bloody hell, this place was swanky. It was the sorta gig that made him feel like he had to take his shoes off at the fucking door or something equally ridiculous. Shaking his head, he paused at the door to the Mocha and contemplated running in and getting a muffin before he headed back to the Lamb. He'd have to eat quick, though. Otherwise Dermot would get his grubby little dick-skinners on it and he'd never see it again.

Callan was in the Gardens, checking his cell phone while Amelia pranced around and slowly went about doing her business. He'd never understand the mindset of dogs. He certainly didn't play hopscotch before going piss everytime he went into the bathroom, but maybe he was going about it wrong. He waved to Declan who waved back, but looked entirely flusterd on the phone. Wiping at the sweat on the back of his neck, he muttered to the dog to hurry up.

Jude was in the Mocha, sitting relaxed and casual and alone at one of the tables while looking at a test run of one of the new roller coasters they were designing for the park. It was based off of one of the last movies, something about a frog that could dance, but somehow they could never get the roller coaster's safety bars to stay down when it went through the first loop. The human sized dummy fell out every time. Smirking a bit to himself, he contemplated suggesting to put the ride on through as is. It'd be a nightmare in one aspect, but in another...

Jude in the Mocha, OTA and MW!

[info]mm_j
[info]morningstar_mnr
Jude was sitting at a table in the Mocha, flanked by his girls as always though they were invisible right at the moment. He was flipping through the New York Times, a slight furrow in his brow as he read over the stock sections.
He was still doing amazing. He supposed having the father that he did made for some allowances.

Sipping his coffee, he turned the page, thinking about nothing in particular and not really paying attention to anyone.

Phone call to Celeste, Sunday Afternoon.

[info]mm_j
[info]morningstar_mnr
Jude was in his apartment sprawled out on the couch in a moment of leisure when it occured to him that he hadn't gotten around to calling Celeste yet.

"Can you keep it down, please?" he said to his girls who had went hunting and come home with something to eat. He didn't know if it was an animal or a small human or what, but there was blood all over the floor. "And clean that shit up when you're done."

He pulled out his phone, searched for her number and sat waiting patiently while the phone rang.

AU Jude; Another time, another place...

[info]mm_j
[info]morningstar_mnr

There had been a wife. A wife and a child and forgiveness and...

Love.

Lillian, with her green eyes and caramel skin hadn't cared about what he'd mistakenly done, leading all those people to death. She said she could look into his eyes and see a good man. And a good man he'd tried to be - for her. Her and that baby, a little boy with dark eyes that wanted to hold Jude's fingers as he fell asleep. He'd come out of that hell hole a villian. A murderer. And she'd loved him anyway.
It had been perfect. It had been everything he'd ever wanted.
It hadn't lasted longer than a year and a half.

OOC: This marks the end of AU week! From here on out, any and all threads will take place in real time.

Vision and Jude; Late Sunday night.

[info]mm_j
[info]morningstar_mnr
Vision drew smoke deep into his lungs and let it out slow, chuckling softly to himself as he looked out the window. The City looked lovely, as it always did. Inside the Manor, things were about to become...not so lovely.

"Have a seat, son," he said without looking around at the man who'd entered behind him. "We need to have ourselves a little chat."

OOC: This is the launch of AU week, should you choose to participate! As always, you are not required to play in an alternate universe and if you'd rather carry on with regular plot, that's fine too. Have fun, and remember - absolutely anything goes and it's over Saturday night at 11:59 pm!

Mocha, Mid-afternoon, Emma, OTA/MW

[info]sam_mm
[info]morningstar_mnr
A morning at work, followed by chores, had left Emma feeling rather more than just peckish. Leaving Lily asleep with Faith (a long walk had rather done the pair of them in chasing each other round Riverwalk Park) she headed down to the Mocha with just her phone, a small sketch book and a couple of pencils (not including the three stuck in her hair). Ordering a sandwich, some cookies, and a large pot of tea, she settled at a table where she could easily keep half an eye on the comings and goings, but still appear to be engrossed in what she was drawing in the sketchpad. Truth was she was sketching the faces of the people around her, a pair of eyes here, a nose or a profile there, a raised eyebrow, the way one woman's hair just curled around her ear... Little bits of people, little details that were so important in getting a person right. Emma knew she needed practice at those.

Of course it didn't help that she was kind of at a loose end, with college out she had so much more free time to do things.... she just wasn't doing anything!

Jude; Mocha; Monday afternoon. OTA and MW!

[info]mm_j
[info]morningstar_mnr

It didn't require any sort of special ability to look around the Mocha and see which of this people wore the mark of his father. There was no one doing anything even particularly devious at the moment, but he could tell. It might've been something in the eyes, something he saw every day now when he looked in the mirror. His eyes met those of the blonde woman working the counter, so a product of his father that she might as well have had 'Vision' stamped across her forehead. His head tilted slightly and her expression went immediately from a sneer to blatantly adoring. He smiled. She blushed.

Poor, pathetic creature.

He looked away, this time to meet the eyes of a pretty woman, there seemed to be a lot of those here, and he let his smile brighten and appear more genuine as he gestured her in front of him. The moment she stepped in front of him he looked over her backside with blatant interest, dark eyes shining.

Oh, yes. This will do quite nicely...

Jude and Vision; Brecker Headquarters; Wednesday

[info]mm_j
[info]morningstar_mnr
There was a new world just outside of this office door, the door that now had 'Jude Marcus' etched into a sleek, marble plaque. This was his life. His world. His job. It didn't matter that he didn't remember where he'd been, or it seemed that sixty years had passed without him knowing. There were cars. Lights. Half-naked women on something he knew to be a billboard outside of his office. He had knowledge of the last sixty years, he just didn't remember how he gained it. He knew the face in the mirror looking back at him was his, though he didn't quite understand how it was still young and handsome. He didn't have to.
His father had told him this was his life and he came with all the knowledge required to run it. He trusted his father.
He adjusted the collar of the sleek Armani suit jacket he was wearing, and turned back to face his father with a smile. "What should we do first?"
