Who: Ra's al Ghul, Ubu (NPC)
Where: A private plane flying en route to an undisclosed location in Russia.
When: Tuesday, May 11th, 2010
What: Ra's is informed of Damian's kidnapping and prepares for the inevitable, while keeping to his own plans.



No one liked to bring unsettling news to the Demon. Even those most loyal to him. As Ra's sat with his hands folded neatly in his lap, his eyes did not move from the window and the clouds beyond as Ubu came upon him, not quite as stoic as he traditionally was in such situations. What his servant was about to say, Ra's knew already. That Talia had subverted resources from the League and gone so far as to invest the services of his finest warrior for a mere outing with his insolent grandson.

"It is as you-", Ubu began, but Ra's stopped him with a raised hand. Without another word, the towering sentry nodded once and left his master.

With a shake of his head a little sigh, Ra's considered how long it would take the good Detective to figure out what had happened to Damian. Surely he must already know, and that meant Ra's could expect a visit from 'the Batman' at any time. Of course, he would be disappointed when it happened. Just because the Detective ought to know better would not mean that he would. After all, if the knight of Gotham could ever see him as anything more than a villain, Ra's might well have had his chosen heir alongside him.

As it stood this would be a trying game as the only thing more frustrating for Ra's was his daughters troubling obsession with Damian. Damian, who was meant to be his heir. Damian, who was meant to be the bond that joined the Detective and his daughter together. Damian, who had fallen so far short of his expectations as to no longer be of any consideration in his future plans, except as potential vessel.

Fortunately for Ra's, his plane would be setting down soon. Once that happened he could go ahead with his own plans and forget all else for the time being.
