Christmas in Gotham
Who: Batman and Catwoman
What: A rooftop meeting
When: December 24, 2010
Where: Crime Alley
Batman traveled through the city via grappling hook and cloak. Contrary to popular belief, it was very difficult for the car to loose its wheels, or for that matter most of the components that allowed it to function, but Batman still preferred traveling from rooftop to rooftop. This way he was a phantom to the thugs on the street, at any time he could swoop down, and of course, it was one of the easiest methods of stealth.
No one ever looked up.
Mid leap, he let the current run through his cloak, extending it outward and making it rigid to catch the wind, and allow him to slowly glide. While dropping he fired the grapple out and felt the line go taught. He let the line carry him down to one of the lower rooftops. With a heavy sigh he looked down at the old movie theater across the street. One which Batman had always held conflicting feelings toward. Sometimes he wanted to buy it and restore it, sometimes he wanted to buy it and tear the thing down. Either way this spot haunted him. He couldn't help but see parallels to Dickens; a miserable old tycoon, haunted by ghosts of Christmas past.
