Who: Barbara Gordon & Atlee Where: Gotham Clocktower When: Late July Summary: Atlee decides to get a secret identity and who better to work out the details but Oracle?
Atlee looked down at the scrap of paper in her hand. She was pretty sure she was in the right place. She'd made it to Gotham via her normal mode of transportation but once inside the city limits, she had opted for a bit of discretion and changed into normal clothes.
After putting her uniform in a nondescript back pack, Atlee had done a bit of sightseeing. Atlee had never quite made it into Gotham proper and it really did have a different atmosphere than Metropolis or New York-- not to mention different stores. After an extended period window shopping, she'd tried her hand at public transportation. The subway in particular was filled with interesting people and much more pleasant to ride when one wasn't fighting golems or magical villians.
But now, standing in front of an older looking building, Atlee bit her lip slightly. It was a striking building but it just didn't seem all that intimidating. It didn't have the shine of the Daily Planet or the cutting edge feel of Starrware. Maybe she had gotten the address wrong after all.
Stepping up to the door, Atlee knocked twice. "Hello?" she called out. "I'm a friend of Karen Starr. I hope I'm in the right place."
