Who: Booster Gold & Blue Beetle
Where: South Pacific!
When: December 13th, 2010
Summary: Booster and Beetle are in the tropics on the trial of rumored ghost pirates. This means they are island hopping, and talking to anyone who might have seen the reported ghost pirates. And tarnishing their reputations further.
The first Blue Beetle (Dan Garrett) had been an archaeologist, and Ted was sure that Dan had had many adventures in exotic locales. Hell, he knew that Dan had gone on adventures, he knew that Dan had found the Beetle scarab on one of those said adventures. So as he tramped through the jungle, Ted reminded himself that he was having an adventure. He was carrying on the grand tradition of Blue Beelte-ness that had started with his predecessor!
He was having fun damnit.
Okay up until a few hours ago he had been having fun, questioning people about the reported sightings of some ghost pirates was fun. And cool. It was ghosts. and pirates. Two things meant to go together! Plus it was December, and back in Chicago he’d have been freezing, and miserable and instead he was out here in the jungle having an adventure.
He just wished that the adventure had continued being full of girls in bikinis, and talk of ghost pirates, and not tromping through a jungle, trying to find some secluded beach, that people apparently had seen the pirate ship from.
Speaking to the person who was on this quest for ghost pirates, he gave voice to something he had been thinking about for a while.
“So. Really. Age old question. Ginger or Mary Ann? Because I think we passed by Gilligan’s Island on the way here.”
