It's Valentine's Day!!
who Michael and Anthony (and others at the Hog's Head?)
when Valentine's Day, around 1:30 pm
where The Hog's Head, New Moon Restaurant, and 1657 Chocolate House
rating PG-13, for now
status In progress

Michael had talked to Aberforth the night before. Their conversation - held between Anthony waiting on customers was short, choppy, and ridiculous. Aberforth insisted Anthony had to work ALL day Valentine's, and Michael was desperately trying to convince the man to let Anthony off around 2 pm. He'd changed his plans a bit, once he'd done enough research to find the 1657 Chocolate House. He had a feeling Anthony would love that place, but he wouldn't want to go there first before eating, and it closed at 5. He'd ended up changing restaurants and reservations settling on a later lunch, followed by a visit to 1657 Chocolate House, ending with them devouring a decadent chocolate cake he'd ordered from some posh Muggle bakery in London and drinking a bottle of wine in front of their fireplace. But he couldn't share any of that with Aberforth (as he was pretty sure Michael would kill him), and even though the man was staring at him with a knowing twinkle in his eye, he couldn't come up with any good reason for Michael to have part of Valentine's Day off.

Eventually, he'd settled for selling his soul to the devil, and promised Aberforth that he would make up the time Anthony was missing, but Aberforth could choose when. Six hours. He owed Aberforth six hours, and he had a feeling Aberforth was going to drag them out, taking an hour here, two hours there, just to drag it out as long as possible. Whatever. It was a small price to pay for making Anthony's Valentine's Day special.

"Come on," Michael said as Anthony made his way back to the bar from serving drinks. He was disheveled and sweaty and if Michael couldn't convince him to change clothes and go to lunch, he just might scream. "Let's go for lunch. Aberforth said it's all right. We'll be back before you know it. It's..." he lowered his voice, "it's Valentine's Day, and I took the day off to spend it with you, and I've hardly seen you."
