September 26, 2020 - Library Who: Albus, Malcolm, open. Where: Hogwarts library. When: Midday, after classes. Rating: PG Status: Open and ongoing. Summary: Coming.
The stuffy scent of books, the afternoon sun filtered by stained glass, the monotone sound of pages turning and the occasional voice whispering; it all rather made Albus feel like he was being lulled to sleep. Granted, he was probably more disposed towards ennui than most teenagers. He yawned.
After Hogwarts? No more books, not ever. Quidditch over this anyday. Dragging a finger of the spine of a thick volume, Albus pulled it off the shelf and added it to the small collection of books that was cradled in his arms already. It was homework, and Albus did homework like a good student, nevermind if he did it particularly well. Any idiot would know that only OWLs and NEWTs matter, anyway. He had a tendency of looking like a much harder worker than he was, too. Such as right now, as he was sitting at the table with a book lying opened in front of him. He didn’t look like he was staring off into space with his head in la la land, he looked like he was solving a particularly tricky arithmancy problem.
