Plotting Post - August
This is our monthly plotting post! Here you may propose ideas (for your characters & their CR, or on a more game-wide scale), try to seek out CR for your characters, ask for suggestions for things you'd want to play out or ways to do it, gather participants for specific ideas you might have planned, and so on.

You may also ask us mods about any doubts regarding upcoming events, propose themes for new posts, sort out jar shenanigans, and anything else.

Our upcoming mod and player planned events are the following:

+ 01/08, Storm Log
+ 08/08, Flood Event (will last over several logs)
+ 29/08, Black Out Event + Secrets in the Dark Event

Storm Log
This one's straight-forward but Max's canon update return to MC will kick-start a massive storm that she's brought back from her canon. This storm will be very strong, although there won't be anything seemingly magical about it beyond it being really rainy, dark, stormy, and windy.

Flood Event
SO THAT STORM ISN'T STOPPING, HUH? The flood event will be a direct result from the storm, in that the water will build up and just. not stop. (So screw you, characters who are like 'lol it always returns to normal!!1' /calls Penny out.)

Flood event will span several logs, the damage getting better/worse depending on how we want it all to play out, with enough space to allow for mini-logs should anyone want to take advantage of it. This is our survival event in which characters will need to get shelter, food, protect each other, etc, as their usual amenities will not be available.

For those who remember the previous flooding event from a few years back, there will also be dangers in terms of monsters/dragons, underwater caves/ruins/etc, and small islands to prevent your character from, you know, outright drowning.

Blackout & Secrets in the Dark Events
Once the flood finally drains away, MC won't have power back. In fact, it'll seem as if the sun never rises at all! It'll be a total black-out, with only eerie lights the only guide to get through the dark and (try to) assess the damage done by the flood.

In the dark, though, characters will see glowing sentences on any available surface that reveals inner secrets; there won't be indication of who the secrets belong to, although they're certainly confessional enough to draw attention.

	Please respond to this comment with a list of potential secrets your character might contribute to the event; you're not required to use these secrets, but it'll help make a master-list for others to draw from in their threads. Here’s a long ass list of secrets in no particular character order (and no one will be surprised to know that some of these secrets overlap cause my characters are disasters):

- A small part of me is afraid you’ll push me away again.
- All I want is for you to say it back to me.
- As long as I can do what I have to do, nothing else matters.
- Everything shitty in my life was worth it if it meant I met you.
- I actually like it when he gets jealous.
- I can never forgive you, but I can thank you.
- I don’t want to die.
- I know I must have been happy with my mother once, but I can’t remember a single thing.
- I know people use me. I let them because I want to be useful.
- I know you’ll move on from me eventually and that’s okay.
- I love you and I’m afraid to say it.
- I should never have been born.
- I think I always knew your secret but wasn’t ready to accept it.
- I want to stay by his side until I’m no longer needed.
- I wish I could be more interesting and easy-going.
- I wish I had more friends here.
- I would destroy the world if it meant keeping her safe.
- I’ll save her no matter what.
- I’m a monster.
- I’m a stronger person because of knowing him.
- I’m afraid of what it means if I forgive him.
- I’m broken.
- I’m not worth saving.
- I’m so afraid of being alone.
- I’m terrified that you might love me, too.
- I’ve loved him for far longer than I ever knew.
- If I’m useful, then I matter. If I matter, then my life isn’t a waste.
- In the end, there’s really nothing interesting about me.
- Nobody really cares about me and I made it that way.
- So often I don’t feel like myself.

-I’m mad at her, but sometimes I miss our friendship
-It’s not only my fault, but I still feel guilty about it
