Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Who: Hikusaak and a Sasarai
What: Discussing how to get Kit Kit back
When: Backdated to the afternoon after Kit was taken
Rating: Low, Hikusaak won't have a dirty mouth
Status: Started

She had taken his oldest friend. Hikusaak couldn't forgive this regardless as to how hard he tried. He had attempted to his emotions from her, but he was quite certain she had picked up on his anger anyway. His mind was reeling. It was quite obvious that he needed to do something to get her back. The pain inside of his body was far more than he could handle. All he had wanted was his friend back, that wasn't too much to ask for, at least in his own mind.

His rage had finally overpowered him only mere hours after all this had occurred. In order to keep his sanity in tact, he had decided to find aid, which made him sent a request for Sasarai. He felt that this person was likely the only other he could trust with a task as important as this. He had been in his chambers for quite some time, after sending word for Sasarai to join him there.

He was standing at the window, looking out but not really seeing. He was trapped inside of his mind and he was worried he would be unable to get out. He felt as though he was waiting there for hours, when infact it had only been 20 minutes.

A slight knock on the door announced what was presumably the entrance of Sasarai, who was let in and the door promptly shut behind him. He stood there patiently, waiting to be admitted formally, at any rate.

"High Priest Hikusaak. You sent for me?" He asked, trying to remain somewhat official. After all, it was always best to handle things in such a manner until you were more familiar with the situation that had presented itself.

He smoothed out his tabard, fiddling slightly with the ring on his finger. He sensed that something was not right, in fact he'd had that feeling for a while now. He was no mystic, however, and certainly didn't know if it was true or simply a lingering doubt leftover from some other dealings.

Though Hikusaak's mind was elsewhere, he turned his attention at the sound of the knock. He knew that his full attention would be required in order to find the girl who was lost to him now. His body ached with the truth of it all, but finding her could very well make this better.

Once the young man entered, Hikusaak simply scanned the boy before speaking, he needed to be entirely certain that this boy would be able to aid him. "I did send for you, yes. I was hoping you could help me with a task. It will not be simple, and it may very well take quite a long time," he turned from the boy and walked back over to the window, he was trying to get his emotions in check before continuing. He had been doing good so far, but once he started speaking on the actual matter, he worried he may have trouble speaking it without getting emotional.

"A friend of mine was taken from here, would you be up to the task of searching for her?" after finishing, he glided over to the boy, "As I said, it will not be simple, but I hope you are up for the challenge."

"You want me... to search for someone?" Sasarai frowned, allowing himself in somewhat. "Forgive me for being forward, Sir, but would that job not be more suited to someone like Nash..?"

Hikusaak peered up at the boy. Why his motives were being questioned were far more than he could handle at that moment. For a moment he said nothing, then finally once he was composed he spoke, "No, I wish for you to do this, it's important and the task seems beyond him. You are far more able."

He crossed the room for a moment, "This person is important, far more than he could ever understand. Will you do this for me?"

"..." After a long pause, Sasarai nodded. "Very well. Of course I will do what you ask of me. I simply questioned my ability to perform the task," Sasarai shook his head, stepping toward the other.

"Could you please tell me more about the person I am looking to find?"

Peering up at the boy, Hikusaak felt a small bit of admiration. Not many would have dared done so. "Do you remember a friend of mine? Kit-Kit?"

He wasn't trying to be vague, his mind was just not as it once was. In order to get this done correctly, he went into his dresser and found a picture of her. If this was going to work, he would need to give him the most he would need to complete this.

"Kit-kit..." Sasarai echoed, taking the proffered picture and studying it intently.

"I must admit, the memory is more than a bit vague, sir. What can you tell me about her? Or any possible locations?"

Hikusaak realized that he was sometimes vague, it was a problem he had carried his whole life. "I have this picture." he slowly walked over Sasarai and laid the picture in his hand.

He thought for a moment, "I am at a loss for where she may be, but I know you have greater skills than you believe."

Sasarai nodded, understanding what he must do. "So we really have no leads, then? ... I see. I will begin the search immediately."

The truth was, with all of this being as it was, it would take awhile and he needed full attention. It was quite apparent that he had chosen the right man for the job. "I thank you," he spoke shortly, removing his gaze from the photograph in the boys hand back to the outside where he could drown in his own thoughts.
