Hm. I hadn't thought of that--"I don't like it, don't want it, don't care to discuss it. I only say something when it's in my face and I'm annoyed by it."
As an OTW supporter, I want to know what they're doing wrong. That is, inasmuch as "some fans don't like them" indicates mistakes on their part, which is not 100% true--any project will have some people who don't like it, and they won't be able to "fix" anything. But if there's something "fixable" that could make them better for those fans, without sacrificing their core goals (i.e. not gonna make it a het-only archive for those fans who hate slash, as one extreme example), I'd like to know about it.
In my supporter squee, it hadn't occurred to me that that's not your problem. I'm sorry about that. That kind of oversight is why I'm up-front about being pro-OTW: so that when I step on toes, hopefully people understand why, and when they tell me so (or slam into me with "get off my foot, bitch," which is also a reasonable reaction), I'll know how to be more careful in the future.
I didn't know (or hadn't cared to notice; definitely my bad) it was coming across as "your wrongness, let me show you it."
