You mentioned Eastenders; there's also the long running soap
Coronation Street>, set Oop North among a tight-knit (mostly, there is the odd professional) working class community. It's a mix of drama, comedy and insane going-on.
Doctor Who (2005) has Rose Tyler, her mother and her boyfriend for a couple of seasons. They were all working class and lived on a council estate. However, the programme default has tended to be middle-class and people have been sceptical about the realism of the Tyler's portrayal.

, which I've yet to see though they have some of my favourite actors in it.
There are shorter drama pieces like

as well.
