	Oh, loved this so much! Snape's insecurities and Remus being a pushover who finally grew a backbone ... and I love all of the twists to canon, the way that Snape and Remus survived ... and ohhhh, the cross-dressing. What a very enjoyable read! I love post-war Snupin, where both have interesting lives and jobs -- and Teddy is a lovely bonus!

I also have to say, I don't normally enjoy cross-dressing as it's too often a feminization I don't think the characters need, or that isn't IC in any way.

But this was IC for Snape, with his accompanying self-critique and his small discoveries, like the feel of silk on smooth legs, a meaningful build-up to the story. And then it was a fun extra pleasure for them both. Their exchange about the corset afterwards was, again, thoroughly realistic. (I am apparently on some weird realism kick lately, wtf!)

I like that Ginny wasn't awful :-) and Minerva's comment was made of win. Now I'm imagining you writing them at Hogwarts with a toddler metamorphmagus who could probably get up to more trouble than the Weasley twins and Peeves put together!

	Very nice story! I enjoyed the begining very much! It was gripping and I was washed away. Severus' pain was very palatable and easily identifiable, my cheeks burned for him as i was reading. The ending was really wrapped up nicely. I liked that Ginny was a sweetie and How severus think she became to "like" snape. Minerva's letter was wonderful, Go Minerva! (Reply to this) (Thread)

Lovely! I liked the care you took in describing Snape getting dressed and how sexy it made him feel, and his embarrassment at Remus's initial rejection was so palpable. *pets him* I like the resolution, too, and, of course, the sex. ;) Also?

He'd always had oily hair, but things like not being discovered as a spy, not being killed by the Dark Lord, not being betrayed by a jealous Death Eater and then killed by the Dark Lord, and not dying of an apoplectic attack brought on by one of his students had all ranked higher on his priority list than keeping his hair squeaky clean.

Hee! Oh, Snape. :)

	I adored this! So romantic, yet not cloying or out-of-character at all. This was such an interesting take on why Severus would start to cross-dress- totally believeable! I had some significant tears of joy around this line: "It wasn't locked, you know." I love what that one line says about both of their understandings of the other. A very satisfying read. I now feel like I'm a lizard languishing on a rock under the hot summer sun.

Severus and Remus both revealed vulnerabilities here and worked through them together by story's end in a way that was heart-wrenching, realistic, and satisfying. I like that one of Remus' struggles in canon -- being a pushover -- is being worked through.

The sex was erotic and an extension of the emotions between the characters. Even the cross-dressing, lovely as it was, wasn't a kink, but a means to an end -- very appropriate for Severus' character.

Great job!

Oh, lovely. As other people have noted, the cross-dressing doesn't work so much like a kink/fetish as much it does an organic part of the character development and plot--and what a sexy part it is, too! I love the tentative pride Severus feels in his appearance, and it only makes his crushing disappointment at Remus' supposed rejection all the more poignant. Poor thing!

It's nice to see Remus finally grow a backbone and stand up for his own happiness! Also, I adore the fact that Minerva and Ginny approve, even if other people don't.

Oh, I liked this very much -- the awkwardness, the melancholy of it, both of them damaged in different ways by things that happened as the wizarding world headed towards and then experienced the war.

You unfolded it all very nicely, the fears Severus had because Remus wasn't addressing any of the unspoken issues, and the clinging to methods of avoidance Remus couldn't help. Remus's developing reactions to the cross-dressing felt real and communicated so much about their relationship.

Nice work!

Agreed with the above comments; it's nice to see Remus finally grow a spine after DH. I've felt that he was in the process of developing one during the events of DH, and his death stopped the process prematurely. Which sucked for canon!Remus, but opened up lots of possibilities for Remus in fic. Nice to see someone taking advantage of that.

However, I think my favorite part is this: "Right." Severus broke the seal with reluctance. He recognized Minerva's handwriting on the envelope, and he hoped she wasn't writing to censure them. Ignoring the icy apprehension clenching his stomach, he unfolded the letter and read swiftly -- and his lips quirked in something close to a smile. "It's from Minerva. She says it's about bloody time." -- Great image, and completely hilarious. Nice.

	Severus stood in front of the full length mirror and studied his naked body dispassionately. Nice way to begin a story. :-) And you wrote your way around the Tonks factor logiacally, the Snape 'death' and family feelings as well. The sex was passionate and loving. Eep, I enjoyed Snupin! Eeeeeep, I enjoyed Snupin with cross-dressing (both things I usually run away from)! No, seriously, that was fun! I adored the characters in particular. Snape's insecurities, Remus's pushover-nature. Loved the realism of it – the awkwardness of Remus' first reaction, Remus's concerns, the actual reactions... great fun.

I particularly loved
Remus might be susceptible to other people's opinions, but Severus didn't give a damn about what any of them thought, and imagining the look on the faces of Molly Weasley, Potter, and the rest when they found out was enough to put him in a good humor for the rest of the week.
Just because... that's Snape in a nutshell, and I adore it :).

Loved Minerva, and the sex was very hot (and, again, lovely realistic!).

*ahem* Love all the details, like the feel of the stockings against his newly bare legs, and how he grew his hair out ever since Remus mentioned liking it long. And Severus' angst and feelings of inadequacy. I wanted to hug him tightly and not let go! I love how you've dealt with why and how Remus fell into bed and a marriage with Tonks, and his guilty relief at the way the war left him without her and with Teddy.

"What I want is to kiss you," Remus murmured, leaning in until they were nose to nose.

"No one is stopping you," Severus replied

*LOVES* So perfect Severus!

And Severus taking delight in the reactions of others to finding out he was with Remus. I think it gave me as much glee as it did him! Oh, it's one of those lovely things about this pair that I adore - how they can be so different and still so perfect! And Remus' reactions to the letters he gets - finally "growing up" and taking what he wants!

Hee! And BUTTONS! "I don't tear the wrapping off my Christmas presents either," he replied. Love this detail!

And Severus is so SEXY once he knows that Remus really wants him!

"Don't. I don't want your fingers. Just use lots of oil and fuck me already."

I love how you've dealt with the crossdressing, too! Making Severus androgynous but not feminine, and Remus seeing that.

The ending was lovely and I adore Minerva's letter! It really was about time!

I love how you've taken from DH canon and made this pair work anyway. The mention of the scars on Severus' neck got me in a nice sort of way, surprisingly, though I do adore an overly self-critical Severus. And his reasoning for never worrying about his hair before is made of win!
