Merry Smutmas, [info]chaos_rose!

To: [info]chaos_rose
From: [info]ships_harry

Title: A Not So Graceful Redemption
Rating: R-NC17
Pairing: Filch/Snape
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters or places. I did draw the pictures ;)
Summary: Severus Snape and Argus Filch find some common ground one Christmas.
Warnings: Snape is 17, and there's some rimming, plus reference to some bondage and corporal kink. Images are NOT WORKSAFE.
Artist's notes: I would thank my betas by name if I could... but big thanks go to the three of you <3 <3 <3. The title is from playing around with Silent Night... and I realised, *after* doing this, that my recipient was responsible for the first Snilch I ever read - which I adored. I hope that feeding her back her own rare-pair doesn't seem an impertinence :).

A Not So Graceful Redemption

This is wonderful! the illustrations are great and so is the verse. I love this pairing lots and I love how raw it is here. It's perfect. :D The 5th panel though has to be my favorite part of this picture. To me it's almost like some religious mannerist painting (asides from the fact that it's not religious) It's very reminiscent of painters like el greco, completely filled with expression. :3

Wow. Completely amazing! I love this pairing because it's so WRONG - you've managed to perfectly capture that lovely balance of wrongness and so very, VERY right! Plus, the pictures are to die for. What an amazing gift Chaos has received!

I agree with Themostpotente - you win at Smutmas!
holy fu-- I mean, that was fantastic. I love that you took it the whole way -- from rhyme to illustrations, to full book layout, it's so very well crafted. And Snape/Filch isn't my favorite pairing, but you've managed to portray it so well -- it works and there's more than just sex behind it. Major Kudos for getting subtle emotion into a verse like this, that's not an easy thing to do.

And just cause I have to say it, my favorite is the last page, and especially the last verse. Fantastic job all around!

OMG! Poetry! Smutty poetry! I am in total awe! And the drawings beside!
I love how the set-up of the drawings make me feel like I'm peering into a magic mirror! But the best one is the last, with its revelation. That cuff is...well...what can I say! Absolutely excellent! (Well worth all the time this took to download!)

"...where to lay glory or blame" is right...I love the way the ground keeps shifting in this poem in terms of settling who is the real aggressor. Smutty, delicious, poetry that actually scans...and fine art: what could be more welcome on the morning of Christmas Eve? *applauds*

Wow! You did beautiful work here, with the art and the layout and the story in rhyme--you even stuck to the meter! And there was plot! What a tremendously nice way to fulfill a prompt. I enjoyed reading it--the rhyming verse was great for a pairing that seems a little humorous, but you also did a good job making the reader believe that the pairing makes a certain kind of sense.

This is delightful. What a package: verse, illustrations, formatting, and content. You win! And the Filch POV here is so perfectly done. And the ending.

I've read it twice, downloaded it, read it again and it's just perfectly, kinkily, naughtily right!

The characterizations in the verses are just awesome, sexy and funny and very much in character as I think of them. The verse itself is wickedly sexy and witty.

And the illustrations are perfect young and naughty Snape is delish! I have a special fondness for the one on page twelve, too. *grin* Snape's feet just say it all so eloquently! I think my favorite pic, though, is the one on the last page - the texture of the coat over the shackle is just amazing, you want to reach out and touch it with your fingertips. I'm such a detail freak for stuff like that.

The ending verses are the ribbon on the package, and you are a wonderful and talented individual. What a treasure of a present! I literally can't thank you enough.

P.S. I wrote the first Snilch you read? That's some awesome story karma. :)

EEEEEEEEEEE! Happy Christmas to me, then! I was sent an email to let me know this was posted, and yay for the timing! The Christmas prezzie of feedback ;). I'm so, so, so glad you like it, because... well, let's face it. Illustrated verse is a bit weird! It just sort of... happened. Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! ~dances around with glee~

Oh, WOW. Now there's a unique Smutmas gift! ::dies::

Gee, I don't even know where to start commenting on this. I love your cheeky, perceptive teenage Snape, and lonely, kinky Filch. The dynamic between them, the shifting power, is great. But the last two lines..! The very end gives a whole new level of depth to the entire piece. Brilliantly done.

The first view of the castle is gorgeous. Your Filch... is disturbingly sexy. o_O Love their hair, their clothes, Filch's stubble, Snape's wanton pose, Filch's arse with Snape's legs wrapped around him! Abfjfkshfl! Win.

This is just spectacular! There has been a lot of incredible fic and art given and received in all the holiday fests, but I think this one puts the star on the treetop. It has *everything* and it's all so well done. The way it's presented in book form with those charming, well-mannered borders -- sort of reminds me of Victorian porn, where the most depraved things happen but it's all couched in 19th phrasing. This is just wonderful.

Wow! Made of awesome! This is incredibly impressive. The text itself is outstanding. Smut, but not without subtlety, told in poetry that rhymes and scans! Remarkable. But then to illustrate as you have, and put it in this gorgeous book format... Seriously, it is awesome, meaning that I am in awe of what you've created.

This is a real treasure! So--so naughty! And so brilliant--the illustrations, the verse, the book format. My favourite verses are probably the last page... and my favourite illustration is number seven, because fully-dressed Filch, wrapped in shy-schoolboy-Snape legs? GUH!

Beautiful. The sheer ambition of this alone would get points, but it's damn wonderful! That picture of Severus lying back, on the receiving end of ecstasy, and the one of him giving that coquettish look over his shoulder--unparalleled.

This wins on all kinds of levels. The verse is perfect - made me squee out loud from how kinky Filch is and how perceptive young Severus, and the ending - god, it's chilling. The book format is awesome, and the illustrations? Just - guh! They really talk, those pieces. The verse and the artwork wonderfully complete each other. Above all, this is really unique, something special - and I bow to you for this :) *applauds you*

Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing piece! Writing decent poetry is so hard, but you had good characterization and hot porn, AND it all rhymed. :-P And the drawings are fabulous. My favorite part is the last two pages, because yes, that's where you really sold me on this pairing. And the implications of the last drawing are delicious.

I love the way the smutty crudity of the poetry veers from lyrical to earthy in the space of a couplet. And as for the couplet themselves...mmm! I particularly like the last picture, so secretive and coy.
