I read your fic, I liked your fic, I commented on your fic, IJ ATE my comment. I'm going to try again. Good use of flashback structure! Good writing! Good characterization! (Come on IJ, come on, baby, let me post it!)

Oh, how very sweet! I love the structure and the characterization here--I don't know as I've ever read Charlie/Remus before and this was a real treat!

Ooo, I really liked this view of Remus from the lost years- sp fascinating and mysterious. Your young and kind of adorably clueless Charlie is great too. Nice.

Like who you made us work for the story. Nice move, reminding us that only a silver bullet can kill a werewolf. I'm pleased that you had Remus assume his parental duties there at the end. Charlie's conversation with Bill were a hoot, and very brotherly. :-) Molly 'convincing' Ron to go back to Hogwarts made me laugh. The pairing made me think that we don't see enough of it. Great read.

So sweet and satisfying. This isn't a pairing I've read a lot of before, but you made it work perfectly.

Oh, wow, that was fab! First of all, missing canon for the win (one of my *favorite* things ever!) and your Charlie is lovely. I especially love all the little details in the post-war time with Molly fussing, trying to get Ron back to school and Charlie set up with a woman. It gave it a nice canon flavor :D

Oh ... lovely! This was just perfect ... so glad it turned out well in the end. Yay for Charlie being stubborn and Remus realizing that he's right!

Oh wow, that was a fantastic read. =) I love the underplayed melancholy of the piece, when Charlie reminisces about his past with Remus. And just.. I love fics where there is separation and getting back together. It's lovely how you were able to make this relationship seem real, and yet preserve the Remus/Tonks canon, too. That "why her and not me?" line made me very squeeful XD

I usually pair Remus and Bill together, but this has so gone up on my OTP list! I love how the structure is as well as the use of canon within the piece. Nicely done!

Oh, wow, wonderful, compelling storytelling. I found myself wholly sucked into this one and enjoying the ride. The back-and-forth structure works incredibly well as the story unfolds.

Charlie's voice is fabulous, but I love your characterization of Remus here, and how much we can tell about him simply through Charlie's observations and recollections.

For a beat or two, Remus didn't move. Then he grabbed Charlie, pulling him to him, his mouth descending on Charlie's, fierce and biting.

Remus has never been strong on the willpower, particularly when it comes to the desires of others, has he? Yet in the end, when he finally gives in to Charlie, it's what he truly wants for himself. And that's the beauty of this fic. Heh.

I really, really enjoyed this fic! I loved Charlie and Bill's interactions, and the sort of...past and present structure. Wonderful fic!

Sorry it's taken me so long to see this - I've been internet deprived (the horror!!) and so only just picked it up. :(

But now I have it so I am running off to read it and promise to come back soon with feedback! :D:D <3

Oh, I LOVE this! I really love when unexpected pairings totally grab me, and this one did right from the beginning! This was a fantastic story, so rich and full of detail, and I loved the entire cast of players - spot-on characterizations all around! It works so well!

I mean, I thought the switching back and forth of the timelines would be jarring at first, but it wasn't at all, and the whole story unfolded just beautifully! I particularly loved all the background Weasley hijinx - poor Ron! - and Bill and Charlie's relationship with each other! And Hagrid! He's so difficult to write, particularly because of the accent, but he was just perfect here!

Much, much love for this!!

I really liked this! I liked the split timeline, and the way you set up the precedent of Remus being difficult to kill. I also liked the camaraderie between Bill and Charlie. Good job!

What a beautiful story; fitting into canon structure and answering lost years questions, with respect for Remus/Tonks, rich ensemble interactions, a terrific Charlie (who we know so little about in the books), and a complex Remus. I've enjoyed many Lupins in fan fic, but this one is particularly like canon-Lupin in being both charismatic and cowardly, shrewd and reckless, passionate and standoffish -- and mysterious and dark enough to appeal to Charlie, the fellow committed to dragons.

I love that Remus' appearance past the events of Deathly Hallows has such a simple and plausible explantion, yet the reveal of why is illustrated through multiple events. Hermione noticing Hagrid's behavior in 1998 being like his in their first year at Hogwarts is one example of how canon weaves through this story. By the way, I cried from the first scene, due to the tone of loss and love among the characters. The dual-time periods really kept the suspense going for me.

It was wonderful! I liked how flawed and insecure Remus was, always running. I liked how stubborn Charlie was. And the Weasley family was wonderful too, and Hagrid! Thank you very much! Will be reccing.

Lovely story - I love the two paralleling storylines and how one ends as the other begins. Teddy in the epilogue made me laugh, and I adore the picture of the Weasleys and the dragon reserve that you've painted. This was a very satisfying read - great job, dear mystery author!

This was great! I loved your Charlie and Remus and found Remus very, very sexy. *g* I loved how you wrote everyone! And the narrative - how you switched between the two timelines. I enjoyed this a lot!

Oh, I love this pairing and I never see it written, much less written this well and with so much plot! Whee! Your Remus was wonderful -- really IC, I thought -- but I think my favorite part of the fic may have been the Bill-Charlie interaction. I loved the easy acceptance and friendship between them. And I really liked the way you managed the dual timelines -- very effective.

Just a quick note to say that I really enjoyed this and have recced it - the pairing in question is one of my weaknesses, so it's good to see one of the older Weasley boys getting a little action. ;) I loved the way the two storylines worked together, with Charlie trying to figure out just what this Lupin character was up to. Brava!

Beautiful job! You've pointed out one of Remus' major character flaws, and a dragon-wrangler would be the one to overcome it.

Ooooh, post DH Remus fic with flashbacks to the missing-years stuff! And a young Charlie! I really liked the alternating flashbacks, and the way the stories ran alongside each other. Great stuff :D.
