Summary: Starting over doesn't always mean from scratch. Which is probably a good thing when something sinister is lurking around the corner.
Warnings: Epilogue compliant... does that require a warning?
Author's notes: Thanks to my amazing beta who let me bounce ideas off her until I finally settled on something... the very thing she told me I should write in the first place. Go figure. Oh, and I stretched the process in some places here and there to fit the story.

	I adore this story! I love it when the kids are involved. I am usually wary of fics set in the US, but a story set in the Boston area? Amazing! I really liked your characterization in this, especially with Ginny. She was just the right bit of horrible without going to the extreme, which is a nice change from the usual take on her. 	Brilliant fic! I loved the whole set up, from why Harry and Ginny divorced (damn, why didn't I think of that reason?), to the fact Albus lives with Harry, to the Maggot misreading, to the car as phallic symbol, to ... well, everything. (Reply to this)

	Really enjoyable fic. I loved the boy's friendship and how they didn't have a problem with their fathers being together. Great setting and descriptions. Thanks for sharing. (Reply to this)

Hee, this is a plotty, sexy, fun ride of a fic. As a general rule, I don't go in much for HP fics set in the US, but you've given them solid justification for being there, which is awesome. I think my favorite part of all of this is Draco's characterization. He's gained some maturity and poise, but whiny, drama-prone Draco still slips out from time to time. Man, and poor Gryffindor Harry, so overwhelmed by all the Slytherins around him. Heh. Maggot. ::sporfle:: Oh, that rocks. Also? Fumbling, awkward handjobs in the car FTW! (Reply to this)

Ha! CSI:Boston with a twist! :-P I admit I was a bit sceptical at first because, you know, the America thing, but you made it work SO well, and it was a really fun and exciting read! "You don't fuck with Harry Potter's son. You don't fuck with my son. And you certainly don't give Potter credit for my work, asshole." This? Hahahaha! Brilliant! Though I was also rather fond of Harry slugging him one, and yeah - handjobs in the car were definitely FTW! :-D Really terrific characterizations, too - I particularly loved Al and Scorpius! With everyone writing post DH fic (EWE or not) there's a lot of auror/crime fics going around the fests this year - and I wanted to say that this one has been a delightful and unusual take on that theme. The transplant across the pond really sat well for me, where often it wouldn't, and both Harry and Draco were solid and interesting together. The plot was woven around their growing relationship neatly, and gave a genuine underscore to the theme of their interaction. And your Albus / Scorpius friendship and everything that meant was simply gorgeous! Thank you for a lovely read! (Reply to this)

	Great story! It was both character and relationship driven and had a mystery to go with. The guys were both such guys throughout the whole thing (meaning no feminization)! Harry panicking at New Years and punching Draco was perfect. (Though annoying for me. And Draco, I'm sure.) Hermione was right, fight or flight. (Reply to this)

I loved this. Many of my favorite parts have already been mentioned in the comments, but this: "Telling you you're a prat and convincing you to jerk me off are not mutually exclusive." Draco rubbed his thumbs over the stubble on Harry's jaw. "Most would think they were." Harry narrowed his eyes. "For fuck's sake, Potter, stop thinking. You were never very good at it. It is what it is, and right now, it's this." Draco skimmed his hand over the bulge in Harry's trousers and Harry sucked in a breath. "You're a prat; now jerk me off." 	Lovely characterisations and a wonderful H/D dynamic! I loved the lightness of their banter, Harry's parental problems were portrayed very realistic and yet funny as well. With exeption of the more serious subtext of the child snatcher this fic never went far over to the heavy side. And that scene in the backseat of the car - hmmmmm... *purrs* (Reply to this)

Eee, this is THE best story. I love the crime plot that's slowly weaving its way through the story until you realize it's going to be the climax of the tale, building sneakily with every segment. There are so many character moments in this that I adore, that wrench me--Ginny breaking down for her son "not choosing Hogwarts," Draco's "Yippie-ki-yay, motherf**ker" line when he shoots the criminal ("Don't give Potter credit for my work," indeed!), and about 99% of Albus's boyishness just made me squee at every turn. I loved the ID portkey as the linchpin for saving the day. See, THIS story is why "fanon" is not a bad word. :D I loved every word of this. (Reply to this)

Harry nodded. "Oh yeah, and so is Malfoy. I should skin him alive. And I can too. I know that charm." Man, I wish I could say that and actually mean it! James was such an ass (and I couldn't help but blame Ginny for that, even if she did come around in the end), but I loved Albus and Lily. I love the CSI-type work that Harry and Draco do, and I was fascinated by the matching of magical signatures in a crime lab. Their relationship was great and the sex quite steamy! (Reply to this)

"The boys getting lost was most likely the only happenstance that could have thrown the day off so, of course, it happened." This line shows the tone of this tale that I so enjoyed. Light, matter-of-fact humour. Don't you blaspheme the Green Line! ;) (hee hee) Yes it is slow -especially the D line which I live right by - but it takes you to so many wonderful places!
