I'm new here (to Insane Journal, as well) so please bear with me!
For your reading pleasure, a poem written by the luscious Dr Mengele entitled "Quiet Love"...
Quiet Love
"We only met so late,
When we both had experienced how bitter life could be.
Your love is never loud,
And quiet your words and gestures,
A fine smile, our secret knowledge"
That is one of several poems found in his post-war writings, dedicated to Ms. Gitta Stammer, as found in the book "Mengele: The Complete Story". |

I downloaded some History Channel documentary dubbed in Italian called Josef Mengele, Il Medico Di Auschwitz. It wasn't remotely interesting, except that it contained a photo I had never seen before and I don't think it was ever posted here, either. I don't know the context of this photo since it wasn't stated in the documentary, but it seems to be part of his duties examining individuals for racial purity or maybe research for his paper on ears.

Mengele has an illegitimate daughter born to an Australian woman of German lineage after a liaison between the two when the woman, aged 23, and her mother and brother, visited the German Colony in Paraguay in mid-1960. The child was born in Melbourne, Australia, on March 10, 1961. She was adopted privately. |
