Tauno had decided to go out and enjoy himself today which was kind of failing right now. He had gone into a coffee shop mostly for a snack between adventures and now he was at the counter, holding up the line. For once, being foreign was kicking him in the ass. The barrista was staring at him blandly as he floundered, "Finnish coffee? It is a sort of light roast, I guess. Um. I don't know much about coffee..."
Someone behind him groaned and he blushed a little. Fine, fine. He would take the muffin on the counter without a drink. He threw some money down and absconded with the baked good to a table, worrying his bottom lip between his teeth.
