I need your help and support. Santana has agreed to reinstate the Bully Whips (and I'm so happy she is). I have agreed to take over as faculty adviser. I won't stand for it anymore. I can't. Someone has to fight for these kids. I do have connections. But I need more.

Burt, you know first hand the damage of bullying. And it needs to stop. We need to find a way to liberate for these kids.

Clearly, it seems the incident between the Warblers and New Directions has been dropped by the Dalton headmaster. Blaine nearly lost his eye and no punishment will be made for it??? We can't let this happen! According to Santana it was a pre-mediated assault and Sebastian should get punished for it. He needs to pay for it.

Burt had been trying to keep a lid on his nerves all day, waiting for the election results.  They were going to be announced, ironically, during the time that was usually reserved for  "Sue's Corner" on the local news. 

Thankfully, the press seemed to be convinced that Sue was the front-runner, and that he was the darkest of dark horses in this campaign.  There was one lone reporter hanging around outside the house waiting to interview him when the results came in. 

Since the campaign had been so small, and so brief, there wasn't really a campaign headquarters.  It was just him, and Carole, waiting for the results in the living room,  and the boys puttering around doing whatever they were doing, though he was pretty sure they were still up.

When the smarmy anchor announced that the results would be announced after the break, Burt, who'd been sitting in his recliner trying to stay calm, jumped to his feet, suddenly unable to sit still any longer, and began pacing the length of the room, half-listening to Patrick Warburton hawking Hondas.  This was it.

Burt glanced up at the clock on the wall with a little smile. School was out. He'd made a point of being here today at 2:30, after being away so much last week, so he could meet Genny and her boyfriend here.

He'd missed a lot of days at the shop; he was thankful for his assistant, and the help he was getting from Finn and Genny.

He looked around the shop, making sure his biggest wrench was close to hand. All set. Didn't figure he'd need the flamethrower today. He just needed to make sure Jeff understood that Burt was gonna watch over Genny like one of his own kids.

Having the support of the boys and Carole meant the world to him, Burt thought as he made a last round of the house, checking the doors and turning off lights before heading up to bed. It was going to be a big step for all of them, and mean some big changes, from the moment he made the announcement on the news tomorrow night. He had thought he would be nervous about it, but he felt pretty calm, actually, and it was because of their support, he was sure of it. He actually was kinda looking forward to getting into the ring against Sue Sylvester. About time someone stood up to her.

"... How Sue--". The tv went abruptly silent as Burt clicked it off and dropped the remote back onto the table with a growl. He stood up, stretching. " That woman," he said with a shake of his head, "gets me so aggravated sometimes."

Burt settled into the comfortable recliner in the family room, a beer in one hand and the remote in the other.  A Sunday afternoon with a football game on, and the family around-- what could be better?

Burt had walked back to the car with his son in thoughtful silence. The meeting had been unexpected, out of the blue,, and he wasn't entirely sure, still, that he believed in young David's sudden change of heart. After all, apparently this had been going on for a long time, and there had been very little done to tackle the bullying issue, really. He was not fully convinced that Kurt was buying it, either, knowing how badly Kurt missed his friends and wanted to come back to McKinley.

He put the key into the ignition of his truck, but didn't start the engine, looking over, instead at Kurt. "You ok?"

It was starting to get warmer so Angelo could start on his third job on those rare times when he actually had time. That was actually busking in the park. So he had his acoustic guitar and the case was set out. A bit of cash was already in there from both himself as a lure and passers by. It wasn't the most profitable job in the world but hey, he was good at it.

He wasn't really doing a particularly well known tune at the moment but that's what he liked to do the most. Doing pop songs was for New Directions which he still seriously felt like the odd man out being the only weird insert member... Everyone else had been in there for like two years except Lauren and he had still come in after her. He hated it. He hated them.

Anyway, he was singing out to the public, sure no one he knew would see him. "It's been a bad day but tonight my love, it only gets worse. It's been a bad day but tonight my love, it only gets worse..."
