Dear Noah,
I don't know what you did to get yourself charged with vandalism and thrown into a juvenile detention facility, but I certainly hope you are okay. I don't think I need to lecture you on the importance of respecting the law, but I hope you understand that what you did was not an intelligent decision. What if you had gotten hurt? Upon writing this, I don't know if you were actually hurt upon performing your hooligan antics so I will follow that question with another one. Are you okay? I know I won't get an answer, but I plan on getting one because I will be visiting you after school. I have looked up the times for visitors and have asked my dads to drop me off and pick me up from the detention center so be prepared for visitors tomorrow, okay?
With that being said, I was concerned upon hearing the news of what happened to you. Are they feeding you well there? I've heard terrible stories about places like that. Don't go near anyone with a sock full of pennies in their hand. Or a shiv. Under no circumstances should you provoke those individuals in any way. I mean it, Noah. Do not roll your eyes at this warning. Don't speak out of turn to the officers. Those men are there to make sure you don't get killed or worse, like be injured in your leg so you can't perform dance numbers. Don't get into any fights. You're already in trouble, Noah. There's no need to get into any more trouble. Don't get a tattoo or piercing while you're there either. You never know what kind of diseases they have with the needles they use to pierce. Take these words and keep them in mind, Noah.
I'm sending this letter special so you receive it in the morning. Don't let the others read it, okay?

P.S. Don't hold onto anyone's back pocket while you're incarcerated. That's a sign that you belong to that certain individual and that you'll perform sexual favors for them. I saw it in a show. Please do not do it.
