By the time classes were over, Mike had heard about the incident between Tina and Quinn. Everyone did, most likely.

It wasn´t right. Gleeks shouldn´t slushie each other. And he didn´t like the idea of Tina being hurt and upset at all.

So when he spotted her in the hallway and his legs moved in her direction on their own, he was thinking about just talking to her to make her feel better. He wasn´t thinking about the fast approaching Homecoming dance. At all. Or that she found him attractive, at least according to Kurt. He really wasn´t. Ok, maybe just a little...

"Hi," he said once he was close enough and he silently hoped he wouldn´t make a big fool of himself.

"Nervous? Oh, about the game... Yeah, a little. I mean, we´ve did great the last time, but..." Mike shrugged. They were still far from not being losers. "Homecoming weeks are a little crazy, aren´t they? I mean, pajamas? Um..." Oh god, Kurt made this sound so easy... it wasn´t. And he hadn´t been planning to actually do it now, had he? But here he was, thinking - and talking - about Homecoming... And Tina´s laugh was so nice. "Do you have a date for the dance?" he blurted out before he could think about it properly.

Tina didn't even get a chance to reply to any of that before Mike was asking her if she had a date to the dance. Which was most likely going to lead to him asking her to the dance. Which was kind of surprising but not at the same time. Feeling herself blush, she concentrated very hard on her hands. "Oh, uh, no I don't," she answered, trying not to think about how she'd had an automatic date only a few weeks before.

	Good. That was good. That meant he had to ask now, though... Staring at his feet, Mike continued: "Um... I... Would you want to go with me, then? I mean, I know it´s kind of... Tina had seen this coming, but she was still a little unprepared for it. And his nervousness was now making her kind of nervous and she could feel herself blush even more. "I, um... I'd like to go with you. As your date," she clarified, before giving him a small smile. Even though she was still really unsure how she felt about him exactly, and even more unsure if getting involved with anyone so soon after Artie was a good idea, there was no reason she couldn't just have a fun time, at a school dance, with a boy she got along with. And it would have been such a welcome change from all the drama in her life. Mike was drama free, which automatically put him a head above the rest.

	Mike felt a wide smile spreading across his face. "Really? That´s great! I mean... So... Do I pick you up before the dance?" He didn´t have any script for this part... He shouldn´t be panicing more now that Tina actually agreed to go with him, should he? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"It´s going to be awesome," Mike beamed. He was pleased she thought he was the best dancer in the school. Well, it was probably true, but that didn´t prevent him from feeling great about her words. 	"Oh, well that's alright. I'm sure a lot of our friends will be there," she said said with a smile. "It'll definitely be awesome." Even though she had been kind of dragging her heels on the whole Homecoming gig, it would definitely be nice to not have to go alone. "Thanks for asking me," she said, blushing slightly. Tina bit her lip before looking away. He was being too sweet and cute, and she needed to stop blushing already. "Um... you're welcome," she said, laughing to try and break the awkwardness between them. Even though it was a kind of awkwardness she found she didn't mind so much. Closing her locker, she stood before him for a moment before motioning toward the exit. "Walk me to my car?"
