RP Thread: Erik, Sebastian
Who: Erik, Sebastian
Where: Dalton Academy dorms
What: Erik finds himself in the dorms earlier than usual to pass time and runs into his roommate....
When: Monday afternoonish, March 26th, 2012
Rating: PG-13 (for language?)
The weeks following the slushie incident had all become a blur in the back of Erik's mind. He was slowly getting his bearings around things and at least he could say he had made a few friends here and there -- at Dalton and at McKinley High. So he was glad, except for maybe all the drama. And both schools had a lot of them all the way up until Regionals and even after. Erik did his level best to keep out of it though. He actually hated drama. Don't make it your business and you won't have to worry about it. He told himself. He was so busy with his classes and keeping up with the more rigorous curriculum anyways to really notice.
Living in the dorms wasn't too bad considering a majority of the time he either crashed at Nick's dorm or in the library to get his work done. He was hardly in his own room except to sleep so it wasn't like he ever saw Sebastian. (As soon as Friday came around, he left campus to head home for the weekend. He wouldn't be back until Sunday evening.) They didn't really speak to each other anyways. Erik did fairly well at staying out of his roommate's way. And even if they were in the room together on very rare occasions, Erik made sure to have his iPod blast tunes through his ear to alleviate that awkward tension and silence.
At the same time, Erik was still considering his audition for the Warblers. He still had yet to do it. He was more stressed over that than any of the assignments or projects he had. And he was still going through his playlist to find the perfect song for it. Both Jeff and Nick already knew he was interested. But did Sebastian? And would that cause them to clash heads more if Erik officially became a member of the Warblers?
Out of all days to not have any homework, Erik wanted some downtime alone. He entered the dorm room and tossed his backpack on the bed. He already had his headphones in, singing and moving quietly to the tunes that echoed through his ear. He made it over to his desk and pulled out a string of origami lucky star paper. He sat there getting lost in the art of paper folding, a calming mechanism for him.
