What: Artie buys cat food for Lord Tubbington.
When: Monday August 8 - right before heading to Brittany's

Artie didn't particularly like cats, but he didn't want Lord Tubbington to die either. And he was pretty sure that a cat shouldn't be eating fondue and whatever else Brittany was feeding him. Artie figured if he could just get the fat feline to eat the food, Brittany would see that he enjoyed it and that it really was good for him. That was the plan anyway.

He must've looked pretty strange, wheeling through the local grocery store with a huge sack of cat food in his lap. That stuff was expensive, too. Artie just hoped the purchase wouldn't offend Brittany. He meant well.

What: Artie goes over to Brittany's house to check on Lord Tubbington.

Artie didn't really know if he'd be able to help Lord Tubbington, but if it would make Brittany happy, he would do his best. He also went to her house in the ReWalk instead of his wheelchair. He had recently started using the device to climb up and down stairs. Being able to ascend the stairs to her bedroom would be much easier and much less awkward than having Brittany and her dad carry him up. 

Artie waited nervously in front of Brittany's door, ringing the bell. His sister, Amy, stood beside him, carrying the enormous bag of cat food. He centered his weight over the crutches and waited patiently for someone to come invite him inside. What am I gonna tell her if the cat is seriously ill? He hated to think of how badly she would react if something were wrong with her beloved feline. It would definitely ruin Brittany and Artie's time together.
