Who: Puck, Rachel, their respective families, other members of Lima's Jewish community
What: The Puckermans and Berrys run into eachother after a Friday service at temple.
When: Friday evening, March 18th
Rating: This one would have a lot of difficulty being NSFW, considering that their families are there.
Nana Connie was the sort of relative who you felt you had to be on your best behavior around, hence why the Puckerman family were all at temple despite the fact that Leah and Sarah attended sporadically at best, and Puck had been a rare sight for years. He usually would've been able to talk his way out of it, but his mother kept shooting him disapproving looks and any excuses he made were met with Nana Connie's earnest reminders that tomorrow's Purim. Like that had anything to do with anything.
As usual, the Puckerman matriarch commanded the room, flitting about and ensuring that everyone possible knew that she was staying in Lima again this month, and yes, the retirement community in Florida was beautiful but of course she always loved returning home! Leah trailed along after her, looking wearier than usual as she attempted to keep up with her mother's chatty pace, with Sarah marching along at her heels, politely and dutifully answering the many questions about how old she was (still eleven!) and how she was liking school (we're reading The Phantom Tollbooth!).
Puck stayed in the back, mostly halfassing the formalities, but at least it was easier in his case since everyone was a lot less eager to talk to him. Noah Puckerman hadn't been around much since his bar mitzvah, and now he was way taller and had that dreadful hairstyle and insisted on being called Puck. Since obviously, no one could ask about that baby or if the rumour involving him and that tacky Shirley woman from the convenience store was true, there wasn't much to say.
