Tessa had slept the entire time Julian had watched her in the back office while Noir stayed open. Because Jamie had walked to work, Julian had been kind enough to carry the younger Fae to Jamie's house. And even with all the moving about, Tessa still hadn't woken. Julian had helped set Tessa up in Jamie's guest room.

Julian had stayed the night, keeping Jamie company while she watched over the new Fae. Tessa had woken up around 10am with a scream, nightmares working against her. Both of them had come running, but after a moment Julian had let Jamie take care of her and headed off back home.

Jamie got the tale about the kidnapping and the iron and how the girl had ended up in Mayham over the course of the day. Most of their talking came after Tessa had fallen into a nightmare only to wake up screaming. The girl was truly terrified that she'd end up back in their hands. But Jamie wouldn't let that happen. She'd take Tessa back to Faerie before it came to that.

With a day in bed, partly because she kept slipping into sleep and partly because Jamie refused to let her up and about, she looked and felt a lot better. By nightfall Jamie had allowed her to move downstairs to the living room. But even then she was pretty much confined to the couch, but at least this way she could look out the window at the world or watch tv.

Jamie came in to sit on the arm of the couch and glanced at Tessa. "You know you're going to have to talk to people now that you are feeling better, right?" She asked during a commercial.

Tessa gave her a wary glance. "Yea, I figured as much." She gave a weak smile, she was feeling better but remembering made the nightmares worse. She'd survive them though. "When?"

Jamie gave a thoughtful tilt of her head. "Tomorrow or the day after, I need to see when everyone can make it." She didn't want to go over the same information more than once or twice, really. Less wear on Tessa's mind and after a while it just got repetitive for Jamie to listen too. Plus, the more people at the first telling, the quicker they could come up with a plan.

Tessa just nodded. "Can I stay with you until everything is settled?" The question was hesitant, because Tessa didn't want to push herself on anyone but she didn't want to be alone either.

Jamie gave a smile to Tessa. "Yes, you can stay here. We want to keep everyone safe, you included now. Just no moving around too much for you, and no magic until you're completely rested." She pointed a finger at Tessa, looking all too much like a mother.

Tessa gave a small nod. "Thank you. A lot." Tessa clicked the tv off, and stood. "And I think I'm going to catch some of that rest now."

Jamie gave a nod, patting Tessa on the should before the girl got up and moved upstairs. Jamie still had to get word out to everyone that Tessa was up to talking before she headed to bed, which is what she moved off to do.
